I came across a book once where the author recommended that people over a certain age should just stick to GICs. Probably the best financial advice I've ever read. you're only looking at the most benign aspect of drinking. many people could care less about flavor pairings. many people are drinking incessantly for hours on end because of boredom. many people are drinking because they are psychologically tortured souls.
