  1. Why do you feel it necessary to start a thread about every single brain fart thought that enters your mind?
  2. Good time to buy USD with baht 😀
  3. That's it, I won't be watching any more 3:25am games this season. Another loss for 49ers vs Chiefs, which basically means 49ers are not winning a SB this year 😞 49ers now 3-4 and have so many injuries at WR they had to play Pearsall who got shot in the chest 7 weeks ago (Jennings out injured, Aiyuk injured 1st half, Deebo out sick)
  4. How's that working out for you when the £ has lost 7.9% to the Baht in last 3 months. Would have been better off with Baht + 2.2% in Thailand
  5. Never heard of him
  6. Well I'm proudly Australian too but hate Fosters and Yellowtail wines, but also hate vegemite so there you go 😀
  7. And yet I think of yellowtail like I do Fosters. Send it overseas as Aussies don't drink it (well I don't at least, tasted very rough and cheap the one time I had it) 😉
  8. I guess 6x750ml bottles in a box does meet the OP request of 3-5 litre box wine 😆
  9. Don't waste your time responding to him is my suggestion (which is why most of us block him). He's convinced the proposed tax laws are purely to catch old age pensioners, whereby if ever put in place it has always been to catch the very highly paid overseas workers that are non-resident for tax but still spend a significant time in Australia. This is why the proposed rule is 183 days in Australia is automatic resident. Not the made up false story he always repeats over and over of 183 days out of Australia makes you an automatic non-resident. Same with the proposed 45 day in Australia rule. It is to catch those wealthy non-tax residents spending more than 45 days in Australia. For us retired expats doing a 45 days trip once in the prevous 3 years seems a very easy way to stay a resident for tax in Australia in my opinion.
  10. OP was looking for box wine and I knew Penfolds would never have that 😆 Bought some Penfolds Koonunga Hill for 699 at Villa and Bin 2 for 920 at Central. Excellent drop
  11. Since when have Penfolds sold wine in a box?
  12. Geez not asking much are you. How much do you pay for being your personal holiday travel advisor 😆 "Plans too much" comes to mind if you already know Pattaya so well and have only been gone 9 months...
  13. Just saw myself on cctv (there's a 40 second delay before I showed up) Better than watching from some basement 😀
  14. You don't have to wait 2 months to season your 800k. To get the non-imm O you just need to have the 800k (or equivalent) deposited. You need the 2 months seeding to apply for the 12 month extension once you're in Thailand. As said above, you are quoting non-imm O-A visa which no-one has reccomended to you here (or even talked about) due to medical, police clearance and health insure that is not required by the non-imm O
  15. Do you just wake up every day and forget any other threads you started? You've said Thailand is too expensive for you and you steal food from buffets by taking containers of food home. You said 200 baht for a pair of thongs was criminal. But now here you are saying people should just spend an extra 800 baht and take a taxi or you consider them "hard up" (aka broke)
  16. Did you get drunk and forget you already made the same post yesterday 😆
  17. When I go on the Bells website they sell Pattaya to DMK as private van service, so not the Bus. That would explain the price you quoted vs a shared van-bus-van service to swampy or Bangkok?
  18. Bells Bus is 450 baht door-to-door Pattaya to Bangkok (mini-van - Bus - mini-van)
  19. Nothing ever happens in Jomtien?
  20. Nikom court regulars must have loved that 😀
  21. Don't need cctv to tell us that lol
  22. I once took 2 baht buses to the Pattaya bus station, took bus to Ekamai to get MRT to the Chayo Phraya river where I took the jump on / jump off boat to the train station and took a train to Kanchanaburi. I then took the local bus the 70km to Helfire Pass war memorial and back, then bus direct back to Pattaya. All up my transport for that trip cost about 600 baht and it was one of the best trips I've ever had in Thailand (had to laugh when I met a guy who paid 2000 baht just for car from Kanchanaburi to Hellfire pass and back) It's not always about money...
  23. So funny that there's no cctv on 2nd road between soi 15 and the Hard Rock Hotel. Such a busy road, but no cameras.
  24. He said he uses a bulk billing GP so yes it is free. Where the heck are you paying 100 quid for a Dr in Australia (that's like A$200)?
