Yeah, that's why he asked for "Best visa runs by Air" 😉
-
To put the above stated ETA requirements into perspective, when I recently applied for a Tourist e-visa I had to upload a passport copy, a Pic and a home bank statement. I was never asked for accommodation details and I just had to enter a flight number and epected arrival date, not provide the actual ticket. Also, since July they've removed the financial requirements for Tourist Visa. So basically you just need to upload a Pic and passport copy to get a tourist e-visa. But an agent says you'll need all the stuff in the above post to get an ETA for visa exempt entry lol
-
Ok, so why are you posting the following is required for an ETA? This is much more than I recently provided for a Tourist e-visa Your Ste States: A valid passport Proof of travel plans, including tickets into and out of Thailand Accommodation details, such as hotel bookings or residential addresses Evidence of sufficient funds to support their stay (e.g., 10,000 THB for single travelers, 20,000 THB per family) It's currently unclear if health insurance or medical records will be required. However, potential health concerns could lead to such requirements in the future.

That's why it can't be true. I travelled extensively to Thailand on visa exempts between 2008-23. If I had to do an ETA that required proof of money, inward/outward flights and hotel accommodation every time I'd be retired somewhere else right now. There's no way I would have gone through with that hassle when other countries are easier to visit by just getting on the plane with your passport.
-
As for the reason of ETA delay, I read over a month ago it was because they are going to use the e-visa application portal for ETA applications, however e-visa is not available in all of the 93 countries now eligible for visa exempt entries. So it's not workable until all 93 countries can apply for e-visa

Australia bans under 16's from Social Media

Actually isn't this new law pointless and unenforceable? Surely Aussie kids just need a VPN so they can sign themselves up to Facebook, Instagram and Twitter as an American or English child 😆 -
Australia bans under 16's from Social Media

Another part of this is that all existing users will need to provide proof that we're over 16. No way I'm providing social media platforms with my drivers licence or passport Maybe I need to close my Facebook I opened in Australia and open a new account from Thailand 😆 -
Obviously too late for the OP but this is a reminder to the rest of us to never delete the app unless we have changed all our sign-in settings first (they give this warning when you open it). My app has worked perfectly for years thankfully.

Australia bans under 16's from Social Media

I still have a lot of resentment over Australia banning it's Citizen's from travelling overseas for nearly 2 years during Covid. So now with this social media ban I feel Australia has become way too controlling of it's Citizens this decade. Surely it's the Parents who should decide what access (if any) their child has to Social Media, not the Government? -
My condo in central Pattaya (Soi 15, Urban) is now approaching 15 years old and I need to renovate. I know I can get floors re-done by Home-pro along with bathrooms re-tiled, but can anyone recommend a company that can manage and complete the entire re-furb? I'd prefer to go away for a month and have it all done when I get back so not looking for cheapest option or having to supervise every day. It's 100sqm, needs new kitchen, new vinyl floor planks, bathroom floor tiles and a full re-paint. Any advice appreciated

Last year Pattaya traffic became grid locked early afternoon so you want to get out of town well before then. I wouldn't be waiting until lunch time to get moving

Australian Aged Pension

People should report you to the ATO for renting your house in Australia to a friend for cash and not claiming it as income on your tax (fraud you admitted to in this thread). This is huge fraud because you are not only avoiding tax on the income but also the significant capital gains tax implications when you sell Since you also keep saying ATO has brlliant automatic tracking of all of us, I'm sure the ATO will be able to track who you are by your online activities should someone hopefully report you... -
The fact you wear your shirts for 2 days after walking several hours a day makes it easy to see why you would have BO. Probably only gone now because of the 4 times a day in the pool chlorine 😉 On a serious note, I've only ever had BO when severely dehydrated. Drink loads of water and you may sweat lots but no BO. Maybe you've drank a lot more fluids here than in Canada due the heat?

It's in Jomtien and I haven't used them yet but Ocean Dentist came very highly recommended by my friends when I asked (very close to immigration on soi 5) https://oceandent.com/

Not saying it's the best but definitely great value. I-Rovers in LK Metro do bangers 'n mash special every Tuesday for 199 baht that includes a free beer (or soft drink, juice)
-
@newbee2022 don't know what that link is you just posted but read the thread title and first post. This thread is about "best english bangers 'n mash in Jomtien" not what you posted of "best english food in pattaya?"
-
Where does thread say "Best English food" OP clearly asks where he can get "deadly but SO good tasting" bangers 'n mash
-
But thread isn't about good healthy english food. It's about the best bangers 'n mash in Jomtien.
