A good wine, matured by honest winemakers rarely gives you a hangover. It's all the horrific chemicals that many pour in, that gives that head blasting feeling the next day. The storage of the win obviously has a vital role. Most establishments in Thailand have no idea. Rarely hit on a wine in a average to low class restaurant in Thailand, that was flawless by western taste buds. Only the lop market restaurants in hotels seemed to cater quality products to wine lovers. But of course at even a higher "quality" price !! As they say, drink less but drink better.

The foreigners either staying here full time or those who come in for a few weeks and suddenly feel rich with the exchange rate and behave like savages, do not respect others in public, give a horrific reputation to all the other foreigners in the country.

I admire and have full respect for those single young Thai mothers, some who are highly attractive and yet only stick to an honest but badly paid and tough job,,,instead of ending up in marketing their charms in some freelancer bar or picking up bald overweight falangs in the food courts of Thailand. Full respect to you ladies...🙏

Disgusting but is is really surprising ? knowing how the official regular taxi crooks in Bangkok behave with locals and mainly foreigners ?

All must be wondering why the brat did not get expelled instead of the young female teacher ? Perhaps his parents were the local mafiosi running the show in the village ?

Amazing how lads can spend fortunes in an evening with hookers and then get stingy on putting in the price for a proper helmet that has been certified by international norms, reputation and standards.

Having done different banks in different cities, the worst treatment I noticed was with Bangkok Bank both in Bangkok and in some Hua Hin malls.

Flee the large stores full of falang customers trying to pose and all the sales staf wearing tight business suits and those great tight mini skirts for the female staff....😜...avoid such places and try to shop in places with mostly thais of a certain level. Prices still may be costly but definately not those ripoff rates in the popular farang "markets".... The area also has it's importance. The worst prices (overcharging) being in Hua Hin IMHO...

The question should rather be "why will you soon be leaving Thailand ?"

A compressor based dihumidifier can be a solution but it can be a bit noisy, consume electricity and the system runs on a internal gas based circuit via a condensor.

Definately any of the islands are the best place to hang around. Far better then Hua Hin that is full of older retirees, a dead place and people trying to pose and pretend to be what they could not afford back home in the west. Not to mention the overcharging all over and high cost of living, compared even to Bangkok. Definately not worth the trip anymore.

Very good but always very absurd when only falangs are stopped and all the thai's with no helmets, no licence, sometimes drunk, are never stopped.

Feminine maybe, but when it comes to money issues, mainly when it's your money, not to worry. All the feminineness vanishes and they become real male nightmares in grabbing your ca$h.

One understands why such LB bars are in straight areas when one sees their customers usually the bodybuilt tatooted farang 25 to 50 yrs old types...slowly walking along Sukhumvit at a safe distance of the LB following, both going to some seedy hotel or room in the area. What a contrast with the image they give in their sports bars yelling and shouting and acting big and bold..🤣😂

Why all the rant and fuss ? For those who can, sell your property and shift to another asias country, more welcoming to foreigners. Even many places in the Spanish islands like tenerife or sount of Spain can be great sunny bargains.

Precisely as they get nothing straight here, is all more reason to worry as they can wrongfully impose tax, making it a bureaucratic nightmare to justify that one is not liable to be taxed.

If you can, start to consider other countries like India, Malaysia in the Asean and sell off your property in Thailand. Of course for those who can.

The right question here is do we actually want to pay tax in Thailand, retired or no ? Of course the answer is a straight NO. Shift and leave Thailand asap, for those who can.
