  1. Because they are stirred up by their political masters about the issue with lies and distortions, because that is what the Dems do - create division and hatred amongst their fools who are always virtue signalling - and then get their votes.
  2. Does anyone here have the LTR Visa - I am thinking of changing over from the annual extensions and 90 day reporting circus. How long did it take for approval and what tips and advice is anyone able to provide. Related question - what company or broker do you have medial insurance with (if any).
  3. Those numbers are for ALL murders not just gun related. The majority (almost 80%) of gun deaths were suicides and removing guns did stop many of those. But the reality is that in Australia they not only banned guns they forced a lot of people to hand in their guns and many of them had no reason to posses one. I myself was a club shooter but had not used the guns for years so I handed them in because club membership and licence fees were drastically increased. However, there was only about 3 million guns in Australia in 1996 and there are about 3.5 million today (more than before). Which proves the issue is not millions of guns - it is who has guns - THAT is what the laws in Australia showed. Take the guns off those that do not really need them - ban all ownership not approved - and live on an island in the middle of nowhere and stop others coming in. There are 500 million guns in USA and a LOT of people will refuse to give them up - unlike in Australia. And more guns will just illegally come through from Mexico etc. anyway. The solution in USA is to licence and train anyone that legally wants to own a gun - like being required to get a licence to drive a car. That means the 2nd amendment does not need to be removed - because there is no way that 75+% of the States would agree to such a change in the Constitution. Only woke liberal idiots think that changing or making a law will change people's behaviours. There are more deaths now in Australia with knives than ever committed before - it is people that kill.
  4. Exactly - it makes you wonder why they protest and demand a change to the laws when there are laws making it illegal to murder people, to buy, sell and use hard drugs, to drive drunk - and yet that happens all the time. Then when you think a little you realise it is all gas lighting by the woke liberals. Something they know the conservatives will support and they can fire up their fools to hate the conservatives for supporting it. The Dems are the Party of hate and division - they thrive on discord and hatred - and they fan the flames. Race, Sex, Guns. Illegals, Crime, etc etc etc - their only policy is the fan the flames of hatred for the views of their opponents. It works on the gullible and silly - but eventually many will grow up and realise they were lied to and being used.
  5. You ignorance astounds me - but I am used to i from woke liberals. Nothing stopping anyone in Baltimore travelling to Mexico either you twit. It is not going to stop anything if they ban guns - which they cannot do because - Constitution. Bryant was not in an institution because he was not certified insane - unlike now. But Bryant was a nutter from a young age - look it up - he was clearly 'not right'. His Father says the worst decision of his life was buying him a slug gun (air rifle) when 14 - it made him even worse and more dangerous. He was once observed shooting a bird and then walking over and shooting it in the heard again and again and again. Gun laws will make no difference - 500 million on the streets now. Stop being soft on the mentally unstable and the problem will greatly reduce. I can agree with suggestions that limiting assault weapons to club members and professional shooters and those that pass an NRA training course, would be a good idea. But again - Constitution. So IMO the best solution is to detain and assess all mentally unstable people.
  6. The NRA had the answer (in USA) decades ago. Make it compulsory that before getting a gun that you must join the NRA and undergo their training in how to use guns. Those nutters will never pass their tests. Either that or pay a fortune for public servants to do the same thing for 10 times the cost. Criminals will always get access to guns - it is about training the general populace and weeding out the nutters (like this last one). Baltimore has high rates of gun murders every year - and yet guns are strictly controlled and assault weapons etc are illegal. It is not about Laws - if that was the case then why are so many People killed when murder is illegal?? Likewise Switzerland allows gun ownership and has a higher rate of ownership than USA - it is not about the number of guns. It is about training and weeding out the nutters. Criminals mainly kill each other, or get killed when committing a crime - they dont kill that many innocents. The problem is mentally unstable people getting access to guns. As an Australian we all know about Port Arthur - the guy was a nutter and had been for many years - he should have been locked away but the new woke liberal laws brought in the 60s closed most 'nut houses'. Bring them back - lock more people away. A few people being wrongly forced to take medication/treatment until deemed safe, is better than 5-10 innocent people killed - that is old school logic and it worked. How many mass shootings in the 50s and before then - SFA!! Check out the stats - look at the sharp increase in mass killings in the 60s when they started closing the nut houses and there was no way to report someone as unstable and get them tested and locked away if deemed dangerous. Marry that with an increase in the availability to get guns - and there is the disaster that is happening again and again. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_mass_shootings_in_the_United_States 100 people detained and tested with 5 locked away VERSUS a nutter killing lots of innocent people - especially kids. It is that simple. IMO - detain and test 100. You can monitor and control the 'nut house' system to stop abuse - you cannot monitor or control nutters with a gun. LUNA - Lock Up Nutters Again.
  7. PLUS - the BIG one - there are already about 500 Million guns in USA and the criminals and illegals and sickos (both right and left) will not hand them in. PLUS there is a ready supply available for more through Mexico. Did you know about Mexico?? They essentially banned guns in 70s and 80s (strict controls on sales and only in homes) and yet the rate of murder from guns is much higher than USA. In fact USA was not in the top 20 in 2020 in murders per 100K population - look it up. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_firearm-related_homicide_rates You and millions of others have been conned by woke liberal politicians and media into believing that - 1. USA is the gun murder capitol of the world; and 2. Banning guns would solve the problem. They are both lies and distortions - it is all about stirring up the woke liberal voters to hate the conservatives. You and millions are being lied to and manipulated - for your votes - same as they let in illegals for their votes. Did you know some people think coca cola etc. is OK to drink in large quantities and that McDonalds is good food? PR and Marketing can make people believe what is just not true. They aint good to eat or drink - and they aint refugees.
  8. Your friend has the better tank IMO - the Leopard is faster and has better firepower. You better get in the first hit and not be on open ground.
  9. Good - so even the Pope understands. Release the hostages and the war will cease. Hamas will ignore his request. And IDF will continue to hunt for and kill all Hamas terrorists. There will be no more negotiations - you cannot negotiate with a terrorist and Israel has finally decided to take the other road. Hamas continues to sacrifice their supporters lives for their cause.
  10. Hamas lies - MSM echos those lies - fools believe them. The truth is Hamas are terrorist scum and deserve to be removed from Gaza permanently. Hopefully IDF will continue to destroy them and all Gazans that enable and support them. There are many Gazans that do not want Hamas to survive, but they are powerless to do anything.
  11. ROFLOL - I just saw this and after page 1 the arguments started - and now they are full on abusing at each other. Calm the fu^^ down guys - this is far from being important. What is important is that despite the doom and gloom from the weather forecasters we played golf today and I won. My advice to all is this - if someone gets out of the car in front of you - look closely at their hands. If they are carrying a gun and they point it at you, then accelerate hard and run them over and dont stop. You now have two choices - police or border.
  12. Washing Post - Yes THAT media organisation - headline opinion editorial. "Donald Trump and 'selective' prosecution. An outrageously excessive fine is thrown out in New York, with an important warning against lawfare." Unfortunately the whole story is behind a pay wall - but the point is that the media is slowly coming around to the truth. Trump aint no Angel but even the rabid mainstream media are realising that they have been attacking Trump based on false information sent by the Dems and their supporters. But the big thing is that the Dems and their supporters, here and over there, fail to realise is that the MSM is like the Queen Elizabeth 2 - it is a massive ship and takes time to turn. But once it does you better not be in front of it - the MSM is slowly turning - their rabid Trump haters are being cut and fired . The MSM are more and more embarrassed and annoyed that they were used - they are going to become more unbiased and fair now - and they will crush any woke liberal BS that they now know is false. They are in business and clearly the vast majority of People are against what the woke liberal left has done - the majority do support Trump. They want to stay in business and that means not being Bud Light or Jaguar or any other woke liberal rubbish. They now know that the the vast majority think that the MSM was biased and wrong - so they are going to have to change. Shows like The View and media people like Whoopie Goldberg are slowly dying off - the sooner the better - for both sides of the political divide.
  13. Some DTV Visa holders are having problems - Banking Issues. Google AI Summary below :- AI Overview DTV visa holders in Thailand are experiencing significant banking problems, primarily account freezes and closures, due to new anti-money laundering (AML) regulations and increased scrutiny by banks, especially Bangkok Bank. DTV is a tourist visa, not a residency visa, and thus doesn't qualify for a Thai bank account under the new rules, which favor long-term residents, foreign spouses of Thais, or property owners. To resolve issues, DTV holders must contact their bank directly to verify account status or seek advice on changing their visa status or exploring other options. Reasons for the Banking Problems Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Regulations: New regulations, aligned with the Bank of Thailand's directives, aim to prevent "mule" accounts used in financial scams. DTV is a Tourist Visa: The DTV is a special tourist visa, not an indicator of long-term residency in Thailand. Stricter Eligibility for Foreigners: Banks have implemented stricter policies for opening and maintaining accounts for foreigners. Who is Affected DTV Visa Holders: Many are facing account freezes and difficulties with QR payments. Foreign Tourists: The financial freedom for short-term visitors is significantly impacted. What to Do if You're Experiencing Problems 1. Contact Your Bank Directly: Bangkok Bank: If you have an account with Bangkok Bank, you should contact them directly by phone or in person to clarify your account status and seek a resolution. 2. Seek Professional Advice: Legal Professional: Consider consulting a legal professional to discuss your visa status and explore options for changing it. Visa Agent: Services exist that can help with navigating these banking issues and visa processes. 3. Be Aware of New Bank Policies: Banks are requiring biometric identity checks and reviewing existing accounts. You may be required to provide proof of long-term residency, property ownership, or marriage to a Thai citizen. Tips for DTV Holders Be Prepared for Changes: Banking rules in Thailand are subject to frequent changes, so it's important to stay informed and adaptable. Look for Alternative Services: Explore other ways to manage your finances in Thailand if you're unable to maintain a Thai bank account.
  14. There is only one rule that must be followed when you try to assassinate the King - DO NOT MISS. The Dems missed and Trump is coming - and he is going to eat them alive.
  15. Just one of the things being considered by Trump and his Admin right now for implementation when ready, is to take away from the States their control of the voting processes for a Federal Election. The evidence is overwhelming that some States are allowing non-Citizens to vote and that is against the Constitution. Many other breaches against the Federal Laws for the election of POTUS are being documented and they will be enough for Trump to implement a new Federal Law that has been passed by the Senate and House, to take full control of all Federal Elections on a National basis. There is no Constitutional guarantee that each State alone can only decide how elections are held within each State - it has just always been that way.
  16. I know you are not responding anymore - and your points are being destroyed every time. But putting that mistake aside - do you realise that the whole exercise was a Dem run plan of getting Trump 'convicted' so that he could not run for POTUS?? The 'charges' could not stick and it was a Kangaroo Court - the verdict was false and it failed to achieve their plan. That those involved are now being pursued and charged and they will all be dragged though Hell is a pleasing situation. But it is even more pleasing that Trump won despite all that BS because the majority of People now fully realise how bad the Dems have been and are. They are leaderless, aimless, without policies and clueless - all they ever had was to attack Trump - and they failed. They have been exposed and destroyed as a political force in America - and it will take a long time before they recover. But wait - there is more - Trump has more changes coming - right now he is 'busy'. The Dems are going to be shocked when their whole House of Cards is torn down from under their feet - and most American People will support it. What they feared most is coming - Trump in attack mode. Right now Trump is negotiating and implementing - when he gets that well under way and hands it over to others - he is going to tear it all down.
  17. Cannot argue with that - perfectly correct. But we conservatives don't get stirred up to respond to forums that much. We certainly do want them all charged and found guilty and put in jail - and all the changes that Trump's Admin is implementing at record pace - those are things we 100% support. Everything that Trump is doing is going to change USA for decades - this time around he is not being distracted and attacked by the Dems allies inside and outside his Admin. The changes are coming thick and fast - and I love the liberal woke tears and screams - as we all do.
  18. All hostages released and the war stops. Hamas then gives up control of Gaza, and hands over all those who committed the atrocities, and allows free and fair elections (managed by Eqypt) - or the war starts again - bigger than before. Gaza controlled and abused by Hamas and their terrorist acts against Israel and its people is over.
  19. Mate - we are not like the irrational and lunatic lefties with that mental suffering problem. Conservatives are more 'conservative' about such things I recall when Reagan and Thatcher died and had their funeral processions attacked and abused by the woke lunatic lefties. We are not like that - we have rational thinking and moral values and honour - although there are some woke lefties that also do that as well (not many but some).
  20. The wins just keep piling up. I have a feeling that if GOP can hold the House after the mid-terms that a certain Nobel Peace Prize winner is going to be made very uncomfortable over the actions he took between the time Trump won the election in November 2016 and Trump's inauguration in January 2017. At the very least he will be forever branded as a traitor, but hopefully it will result in all future losing POUTS' being removed of their decision authorities after losing an election, with an independent organisation made up of the 2 Leaders of the House and the 2 Leaders of the Senate and the Speaker of the House. In all other civilised countries that I know of, the Head of the Govt steps down immediately if they lose an election. By all means gives the POTUS a period of grace to tidy things up and facilitate the handover, but remove their power to direct the Military or any Government Office or Personnel. All existing directives made prior to the election stay, until the new POTUS is sworn in, unless the interim 5 Leaders decide something must be changed.
  21. If it is true, that she is quoted as saying - “I am still suffering with the effects of the attack and want to move forward with my life.” Then her claim was rightly rejected on a technicality. If what it takes for her to 'move forward with her life' is a payment of 20,000 Pounds, then she is a gold digger as some have said.
  22. I dont think so, I think it was the impositions imposed on Subaru to manufacture here and other benefits and kickbacks they did not make or get - they tried to play straight and compete with Honda. Their pricing was very good - the Forester was much lower than the CRV. The Honda CRV and Subaru Forester are the number one SUV going back decades - they basically started the SUV revolution. Now Subaru us focusing 100% on imports into Thailand - only going for the luxury end of the market. I am only surmising about that - but it reminds me of John Deer where Executives were charged and found guilty of paying bribes and kickbacks in Thailand, but no charges have ever been laid in Thailand against the Thais who demanded and received those payments (and never will). I have driven both, Forester in Australia and CRV here, and the Forester is a better car overall - its 4WD is genuine 4WD and works great (it is like Audi's Quattro system).
  23. Thanks - looks like the Thai Bank (ATM) advises them what their ATM fees are for overseas withdrawals. Here they take out the money and then hit you with a separate ATM fee that appears separately in the book and statements (some - not all).
  24. There are 9 large Chinese-Thai (Thainese) families that own and control all large industries in Thailand - except farming. They will not allow any international company to setup here without 'paying' - and as you said, many are saying screw this and are walking away. Just in the car industry Volvo, Subaru and Suzuki have walked away recently because of the 'barriers'. But meanwhile Chinese EV cars are being given the 'inside easy lane'.
