  1. Why? Because he is and will continue to throughout his presidency and in his personal life. He's a convicted felon, after all. What do you expect?
  2. I wish there were some truth to these conspiracy theories, but I don't believe any of them. If I did, it would be because I would welcome them NOT to overturn Trump's election but to restore some vestige of faith in my fellow US citizens that the majority of them would NEVER vote for someone like Trump.
  3. Well, technically, we have about 70 days left, but I'm sure Trump will be in the headlines every day between then and now - much to my disappointment.
  4. He's going to be a disaster for the USA, IMO. But that's evidently what the majority of the voters want. I'm very, very disappointed in his election.
  5. This sounds like a gender/trans-related extension of all titles, male and female, similar to the change in the use of Mrs. or Miss on the names of females in the 1980s. The preferred "marriage-neutral" title for females is now "Ms."
  6. I retired in Thailand about 14 years ago after living in Thailand and being married to a Thai wife for about six years before that.
  7. I've lived in Thailand for over 20 years and do part-time work on my PC. I also live outside of Bangkok, up in northeastern Thailand. I've always found many Thais that do excellent work on computers. Many speak English very well. I'm just posting this in case you can't find a technician like you want, and suggest you try some Thais.
  8. Yes, 75M were either conned by Trump or have the same detestable values he does. I'll be very interested to see what you think about all this four years from now. If Trump is able to accomplish even only a few of the things he's promised, I will be completely demoralized about my home country's future.
  9. Yes, my vote was more against Trump than for Kamala, but I think Kamala would have made an okay president. Trump will be a disaster. And, yes, you're right again. I would have voted for Minnie Mouse or anyone else over Trump. I'll be interested to hear what you think four years from now...
  10. In 2016, it was 48% Hillary and 46% Trump. 2016 United States presidential election - Wikipedia And, no, I wouldn't call that a "vast majority" either.
  11. Kamala lost the popular vote (just barely, 51% to 47.5%) because people were lied to and conned by Trump. Now, we'll just have to see how things go over the next four years. I predict chaos and catastrophe.
  12. How do you define an election win of 51% to 47.5% as a "vast majority"?
  13. That someone is lying about Trump? Not at all. I think you mistyped this. It should be, "That Trump is lying about someone? Not at all." 😉
  14. If you're referring to Thailand, it does have a lot of socialistic features. Good examples are the public health system and public hospitals,
  15. You can't live a socialist life within a capitalist system, just as you can't live a capitalistic life within a socialistic system.
  16. I did the best I could in the capitalistic system I lived in, but I now recommend a more socialistic system. I learned as I got older.
  17. I first earned money as an employee, then as a sub-contractor, and finally as a full contractor. I never worked at anything that was contrary to my values, and did work for free or for a reduced fee for some businesses that couldn't afford my regular fee.
  18. My values are much more important to me than my finances and always have been.
  19. Yes, I was also surprised that this "cancel culture" happened at Oxford. The "incident" is not explained in detail, and that is why I opined it was a homosexual relationship. Cancel culture, at least in my home country, the USA, is notorious for targeting homosexuals and trans people.
  20. It is you who do not understand. I am woke. I will remain woke. It doesn't matter to me if that's not what the majority of my fellow citizens want right now, and I didn't lose. I kept my values. I only hope more of my fellow citizens will develop those values in the future. I think four more years of Trump might help them see the results of rejecting those values. And actually, I don't think they reject these values. I think they've just put their own interests above them.
  21. then you will lose again, the majority of people don't want it I will not lose. I didn't lose this time. I will be the same years from now as I am today. The people who lost are the ones who were conned into voting for Trump.
  22. DEI is not racist, nor does it advocate any other prejudices. DEI is an attempt to make sure that racism and other prejudices are not practiced in the workplace. Like I said before, it is not Affirmative Action.
