  4. Don't walk around looking like an easy mark. Most perpetrators know the difference between an easy mark and someone who isn't. To quote Mad Eye Moody:"constant vigilance". Of course, I'm an American, so we're usually armed😅 Here in Thailand though, it's just good common sense that keeps you out of trouble. I"ve walked through dark alleys in Bangkok and never felt weary, because it wasn't in those areas that are frequented by those looking to prey on the weak(i.e. Soi Cowboy etc).
  5. Diets are for folks who want to show up at their graves with a pretty body.... I'll cook low and slow at my cremation thank ya kindly
  6. I agree with using diatomaceous earth. Very effective for insects. Or anything really with an exoskeleton (scorpion, centipede)
  7. diatomaceous earth will kill all ground based insects. It literally dries em out like little bug jerky. Positive aspect of D.E. is it is not harmful to humans or pets
  8. I was uninterested in an Air Fryer until the wife bought one. Now, we don't ever turn on the Oven to cook anymore, absolute waste of space if it weren't for the range. Highly reccomend the Air Fryer👍👍
  9. To quote Woody Harrelson, kill the cow, knock it's horns off, wipe his ass and slap him on a plate.....
  10. There's a decent Steak House in Udon Thani on the west side of town called Farroh House. It's good enough you don't need a sauce(highest compliment I can give a cook)
  11. I had the schweinhaxe at a street vendor in Kaohsiung Taiwan, oh lordy i could eat it 3x a day😋
  12. Any Restaurauntiers care to share their storys about starting one in Thailand? Especially any of my fellow Americans who've done so using a Amity Treaty setup rather than just with their Thai wife as a partner. I'm curious how it's been for you and what pitfalls you've had(horror stories aplenty out there, just trying to hear them from a first person perspective rather than on old forum posts). If you don't care to share in the Forum feel free to PM me
  13. From what I've read here, if you're a resident of Bangkok, fastest and most reliable source of information for your particulars is Special Police Bureau. They are the ones who would set you on the right path. Or, alternatively, read this entire thread, only took me about 2ish weeks😅
  14. Wifes job is to raise our two children, trust me my offspring are full time employment🤣
  15. Tobacco applied to a sting will help with the pain from bees, wasps and hornets, I wonder if ot would do the same for scorpion. I see large spiders I'm just gonna light the house on fire with some petrol🤣
  16. MK did this with their Roast Duck, i was beyond pisht. I'd rather pay more. They were apparantly just too cheap to change their menu prices😅. But kept the same picture 555
  17. Love my inlaws more than my own family....if it's mine they can have it, can't take that <deleted> with you when you go to the big fire
