So would I and I wouldn't touch any fluoroquinolone unless a Doctor deemed it absolutely essential due to the possible side effects.

To proceed, MFP must show more political maturity
ukrules replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Power isn't at stake - the election has completed, the results are in and that's the end of it - anything other than that is interferring with the electoral process. If the people decide to vote for morons then that's up to them - there are no requirements of maturity or anything else to holding power other than somehow cobbling together a majority of MPs in the house and following the rules of parliament which can be altered accordingly by the MPs. Any suggestion otherwise is complete nonsense. -
OPINION: Thailand’s people have spoken. Will its military listen?
ukrules replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
They need to reign in the power of the military. There's already talk of ending conscription which would be a good start. The only reason they need an army is to suppress the will of the people. -
Passenger sustains serious injury on escalator at Don Mueang airport
ukrules replied to snoop1130's topic in Bangkok News
This is why a fine is not in any way appropriate here. It's owned by the state, any fine would go to the state. It should be punitive damages, no fine. -
Passenger sustains serious injury on escalator at Don Mueang airport
ukrules replied to snoop1130's topic in Bangkok News
The penalty and damages awarded should be set so high that the airport goes out of its way to make sure this never happens again. Fining them is no good as it's a state enterprise so I would suggest a few hundred million Baht in compensation may have the desired effect.- 140 replies

Over 9.3 million people cleared from police criminal record files
ukrules replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
What a pathetic situation for a country to allow itself to get into - and then ignore it. I wonder how long this has been going on for? Must have been a very long time for this number to accrue. -
I haven't heard anything from UpBit Thailand about reverifying. Not yet anyway and if they give me any hassle I'll abandon the account. I generally only use it for buying and never keep a balance on it.

Over 9.3 million people cleared from police criminal record files
ukrules replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
The problem seems to be that once you're arrested your names on the list, even if it turns out that you didn't do whatever it was you were arrested for. The system is complete garbage and not fit for purpose. How do we know any of the data is accurate? I wouldn't trust it at all.- 42 replies

Heatwave Ignites Pile of Old Tires by the Roadside in Samut Prakan

Yes, it's certainly looking that way and it's not just Bitkub

If you complied with their KYC merely 7 months ago they want you to do it again. I would suggest shutting down any accounts and taking your business elsewhere. Then tell them to go <deleted> themselves.

Chinese tour group apologised after causing harm to Thai marine life
ukrules replied to webfact's topic in Phuket News
What complete and utter nonsense. -
Not really, I would have thought it's a civil matter, something you would be billed for on departure. People often smash up their hotel rooms, I believe they're used to it by now

Interesting, I note that there's no such thing as an 'Interpol arrest warrant' though. Warrants are issued by jurisdictions, Interpol has a messaging system which communicates these, they are known as 'red notices'. They have NOTHING to do with issuing arrest warrants - which is why they don't exist.

Damages? What was damaged? Sounds like they're making stuff up to me. The article is complete nonsense if they're talking about tax, how does a Thai owned company do this when the company changes ownership?
