Landlord refusing to do TM30 ?
mokwit replied to sikishrory's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
I wonder how many people have requested that TM30 docs are provided at the lease signing and when it comes to it be told "I've been renting out for 30 years, you don't need a TM30". Makes moving apartments a crapshoot. -
One thing I have noticed is that what TR actually says/stands for and what the media insinuate he says/stands for are not the same.

I don't think it was like this, with the possible exception of GWB. for those who think i am a Republican/MAGA, you would not think so if social media had been around in the GWB years. An alternative explanation is that media was controlled then, it was really only social media that allowed people to publish to the world with alternative views/facts to the prevailing narrative.

Most recent arguing of case was when I explained how Scandinavia was not "Socialism" but rather a high skill value added economy whose wealth came from exporting at a high margin. If you are making a general point, yes it applies on both sides. For the record, the first time I saw Fox News I thought it must be a brilliant spoof. They are all [right and left] biased, so I read both sides on an issue and make a best guess on where the truth lies. The Left points out the lies of the Right and the Right points out the lies of the Left. What it seems people don't get is that if one side points out the lies of the other side, it doesn't follow that they are themselves telling the truth. Social media can often fill in details that allow a decision to be made. Example, the allegation that Twitter had turned into a hate speech venue when Musk took over, there was a purported "academic" paper detailing this which the Left media took up on. The actual head of content moderation at twitter posted that there had to date been NO change in content moderation policy and that virtually all of the "hate" was traceable to 5 entities that became active after musk took over. My interpretation of this was that it was a deliberate false flag operation designed to generate the desired headlines. Reuters and BBC set up "fact checking", but it became clear that they were only "fact checking" the opposing sides info and studiously avoiding "fact checking" media or content that shared their bias. Also to me, some of their fact checking was not fact checking.

yes yes, anybody who makes a point that you don't like and it's 'maga', or 'far right nonsense', but you NEVER argue your case. it's just attempted smears and name calling and links to biased media.' Why is someone doubting the veracity of CNN 'classic MAGA'? Do you really think CNN and all the others are bastions of truth? It's like you have a set number of templates in your head and then just project them onto others.

EXACTLY. Links to biased media.

How is it "fascism"?

Biden doesn't have a sincere bone in his body. He is on record with some very different views on race relations to the ones he pretends to hold now.

In order to reconstruct a country you must first deconstruct it. These are all tactics to deconstruct. In order to supposedly reconstruct you must "eliminate cultural, ethnic and national identity". What is in quotes is from the mouth of Schulz when at the EU and during the opening of the mass immigration floodgates by Merkel. Notice how the MSM belittles Nationalism and equates any kind of pride in your country as the road to a return of Nazism. Nothing is happening by accident. It was all planned, from the first "experiment" with multiculturalism. Why was this experiment deemed necessary and by who? Note my issue is with the political strategy of top down enforced multiculturalism, not natural cosmopolitanism.

Not really sure how the US Military comes into a discussion about Scandinavian "Socialism", other than being entirely funded from the wealth creation of others. (the correct form of funding for many public institutions).
-
Anything else like a highly educated workforce making high value add products that are exported so that really the transferring in of the wealth of other countries supports them? This is not replicable by applying "socialist" principles. Think of a highly profitable company that can afford all kinds of benefits for its employees.

No. They are not the owner/housemaster/possessor and don't have the required documents. People who say they can are probably confusing condo (individual owners) with apartment (one owner). -
This is what YOU think and you are projecting it onto others and calling THEM racists. You are labeling others as racist based actually on your own prejudices. This idea of black = cunning is generated in your head. You are projecting your own prejudices onto others with no evidence this is what they think and calling them racist.

He is just demonstrating what he thinks of her race.
-
If you think this is racist then it is you projecting what you really think about people of her ethnicity.

She seems unburdened by intellect.

One assumes the Soi 7/1 Eden Club would have been included if it were still open.

Thailand eases visa rules to attract long-term visitors
mokwit replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Which province? -
I didn't. I think many of those who did are regretting it, especially the Thai owners who thought they had bought a CBD condo. When I moved in it was Thais, Japanese, older farangs and Koreans. Now it is the 'go to' place in Bangkok for Muslims and Indian Sub Continent/Bangladeshis. They have made it their building. I hear stories of bunk beds four to a room for staff at the local restaurants to crash on after being handed one of the communal key cards or following on through the security doors/using the fire escape. My point is that this group does not think the rules apply to them.

I meant buying advertising space, effectively buying a service. The point here is that it is not illegal to come and buy something in Thailand, but yes, if she was actually contacting clients then that arguably is work - didn't read the article and there was no mention of her "admission" in other reports, just that she was being prosecuted for buying the ad/having the ad made up.
