How did he "steal" the elections? He stood in free elections and won twice. If you want to talk about election theft, try talking about the military coups, where they stole the whole country and yet, not one single solitary general has EVER been punished or even got a slap on the wrist. How about the last election where the party with the most seats is in opposition. Did Thaksin fix that one, as well as all the other elections?

IMHO it is more likely to be the only way in the short term, that he can ease his way out of the mess he jumped into without looking at what he was doing.

Thank you for the link. From what I have read The US says it has intelligence that Hamas has a command centre under Al-Shifa hospital in Gaza City. National Security spokesman John Kirby said the group stored arms there and were prepared for an Israeli attack. So it seems as though the BBC were told by US National Security spokesman John Kirby that is what has happened. Hamas has denied it as you would expect. Nowhere in the report mentioned independent verification of that report. So, IMO it is a second or third hand he said/they said report with no independent confirmation. Either Hamas is lying or the IDF through the USA is lying. This is one reason why I don't believe most things that come from any government sources unless they are confirmed by a disinterested independent third party.
-
Where did the US get its information from? The USA is supporting Israel. Do you truly think that they would NOT accept everything that the Israeli government under Netanyahu or the IDF as the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth? quote "The US has also independently confirmed there is a Hamas command center under the hospital and at other hospitals, its not only the IDF". Which organisation "independently confirmed" that nugget of information?
-
That of course applies only if you believe the truth and honesty provided by the IDF and the Israeli government. IMHO, I don't believe anything that comes from that source and neither do I believe anything that comes from Hamas sources either. I would far rather believe verified news from an independent source. That is hard to find, as either one side or the other, is preventing independent news outlets from investigating any reports. I suspect that both sides have things that they would prefer not to be revealed.

Cannibis Pills/Liquid for Pain Relief
billd766 replied to TroubleandGrumpy's topic in Thailand Cannabis Forum
I went back again this morning and saw a different doctor. She sent me to have an X-ray of my knee, front and side, and prescribed 4 Meds but no CBD oil. I was given Calcium Carbonate 1000 mg 1 daily after breakfast. Tramadol 50 mg Take 1 if the pain is severe and NO more for 8 hours. Paracetamol 500 mg 1 daily for 30 days. ergocalciferol 20000 units 1 once a week for 4 weeks. I ran them though the internet to check for side effects and only the Tramadol may be a problem for me. She diagnosed my knee as Gonarthrosis of the Knee or osteoarthritis of the knee. I had to look that one up as well across 2 links and it describes my symptoms very well, including pictures. I have to go back on 19th December 2023. The visit cost Doctors fee 50 thb X-Ray 500 thb Meds 117 thb Gonarthrosis of the Knee.docx -
Thai Government Plans to Establish Clean Drinking Tap Water

IMHO Anutin is nothing but an attention seeker and truly believes that HE should be the PM and run the country. Most of his announcements fairly scream out "Look at me, Look at me". -
Thai Government Plans to Establish Clean Drinking Tap Water

I live in rural Kamphaeng Phet and NOT in Bangkok or any other big city. My current water supply comes along a government pipeline. It then goes about 5 metres to a cross connected setup of 20 ongs which is MY 1st first line of filtration. The bigger sediment drops in there. It then runs through 2 x 5 micron filters before it even reaches the pump. I replace the first filter every 3 to 4 weeks and the second filter every couple of months as they are blocked by that point, at a cost a cost of 150 baht per filter. Even then there is a brown stain of sediment in the toilet from the sediment and the pollution, and you think that we should drink that? It is OK for the laundry, washing etc but we don't drink it. -

But Bangkok is only a very small part of Thailand, Now compare that with the thousands of KMs of waterpipes that will need to be laid across the rest of the country, the thousands of treatment plants needed, the huge cost, IF a completely separate drinking water supply has to be provided. Just think of the opportunities for corruption that will ensue. -
The Met Police WON'T ban Poppy Day pro-Palestine rally

Poor deflection as it seems that you have no idea of how many. How many actually is many? 2, 5, 10, 20, more? I have 6 pages but that goes back as far as 2004. Some may have died, some may have changed their screen names and re-invented themselves, some may just have left. What I do know. is that I am starting to put more on ignore every year and I don't tell everybody each time I do it. -

No need for an apology. It is a mistake that many of us make, except of course the perfect posters among us, who never put a foot wrong and loudly criticise those among us who do. I just read (mostly) the posts here as IMHO the thread has gone toxic and I don't really want to participate any more. I do reply to sensible and reasonable posts, but the majority are too much for my sensitive soul. -

A completely different video by a different person in a completely different place. So you have only one person chanting death to all the Jews and the rest did not. Does that mean to you, that all the other people think and say the same thing? -

So, in your opinion who was being intimidated, and who was doing the intimidating? You obviously know the answers so please tell me. -

With no sound on the video we only have the word of the person who took the video, who was who and that they were genuine pro Palestinian protesters and members of the EDL for examples. It was not explained who the two men were either. I you wish to believe a post from somebody on 'X'. Feel free to do so. Personally without any explanation I don't believe in it. -

I watched the video by Andy Ngo but I saw no physical intimidation, no threats, lots of noise I agree, but that is normal for any large protest. I even saw several policemen close to the stall. I must admit the noise would drive me loopy after a few minutes, mainly because it is loud and very boring. Perhaps they were threatened earlier and the police advised them to move. the video did not explain that.
