  1. It's pretty easy to see when someone has nothing of any worth to contribute as they resort to name calling and personal attacks. Bit sad really, that they can't play nicely. It's because of attitudes like that that I want Trump to win big, so it sends them off on an entertaining rant.
  2. You posted that way back in April. Do you still think Russia is losing? Only difference between now and then IMO is the number of dead Ukrainians, and the amount of destruction in Ukraine. Erdogan is still there. I guess that now the US has diverted the munitions to israel and the GOP are not OK with sending more money that way, things have changed somewhat. Certainly less posts on this subforum though. I guess it got a bit boring now the orcs are not losing any more.

  4. I find that ludicrous. From the Nakba till the bombing of Gaza today, israeli attitude to Palestinians has been one of oppression, land theft and collective punishment, all the while being protected by the colluding US. If they hadn't been busily stealing Palestinian land in the West Bank since 1967, there might have been something for your post, but there is almost nothing left of Palestinian land now. I suppose all the posters that think israel has a right to the land would be OK if a more powerful neighbour, immune from the police, came and kicked them out of the homes their families had lived in for generations. Prior to 1948, Palestinians and Jews lived in the same area without killing each other, but the zionists wanted it all for themselves, hence the Nakba. The Palestinian resistance came into being because of the israeli oppression, and did not cause the oppression, IMO.
  5. Till the ground invasion started it was not a war. It was just a massacre of innocents from high above in complete safety. A "war" implies 2 sides that are both armed and roughly proportional. I the case of israel, planes, tanks, artillery etc. On the side of Hamas, fighters with light weapons and RPGs. However, seems Hamas is not a pushover in any sense and is going to take more israeli lives in Gaza before they are done.
  6. BS. I just clicked on the link which I can read and I'm not paying to see it.
  7. Yet you are unable to actually provide a single link to an acceptable source that Trump was involved in such a plot or that a plot existed. LOL
  8. If there actually was a plot, there must be proof of such, but you have refused to provide any proof. Ergo there was no plot.
  9. Adding 2 +2 and getting 22. The subject is getting kicked off the Colorado ballot, but he wasn't convicted in a Colorado court of plotting to overturn the 2020 election. Judges decided to exceed their authority and engage in politics.
  10. The question is why you can't provide proof that Trump was involved in this "plot" you keep talking about?
  11. You keep avoiding providing proof. Is that because you don't have any?
  12. No idea what "looking at Ukraine" means. It's only a victory for Biden if Russia loses and that's looking less likely with every month of stalemate. Zelensky is short half a million men ( according to another thread ) and the US isn't providing enough munitions now. The GOP cut the funding, I believe. It's not looking good for Ukraine any way it's looked at.
  13. Bye bye. I wasn't going to reply to you any more anyway.
  14. Why does the Canadian military even provide menstruation kits? Why isn't it up to the women to provide for themselves, like every woman not in the military has to?
  15. Spare a thought for the starving in Gaza, as you tuck into your ample repast.
  16. Hate ( actually loathe ) parsnips and brussel sprouts. Don't think I ever had a proper Christmas dinner. Grew up in warm/ hot countries at Xmas time. No extended family gatherings. When I was in the military either working over Xmas break so I could go skiing in winter, or posted to hot countries.
  17. Alice Cooper said it better. Only women bleed.
  18. I refused to have a double bed with my wife. I like to cuddle when going to sleep and a double bed makes it too easy to opt out of that. When she managed to put as much space between us as possible even in a single bed I knew it was over. The divorce came not long after. Mind you, my wife was not a land whale, so there was room enough for both of us.
  19. I agree. If you ain't sleeping together, what the <deleted> is the point of being married?
  20. Never happened for me. My life turned into the brown stuff when my brother died at age two ( I was 4 ) and never got better. I'm not going to go into details, but nothing is ever simple in life, it just takes some longer to find that out than others. I grew up thinking that a <deleted> life was the norm.
  21. IMO it's because it requires one to surrender a certain amount of control, and that scares some people. They fool themselves that they are in control of their lives.
  22. Thank you for your reply. When I did my military first aid instructor course it was just after several military men had died of hypothermia during adventure training after being caught above the snowline in a storm. Obviously there was some concentration on hypothermia. From what we learned ( though I never had to treat a real case of hypothermia ) if someone is suffering from actual hypothermia they ain't going to be capable of posting anything on a forum. We also learned that if caught in a snowstorm it's not a good idea to go walking around in it. PS, Hypothermia was obviously something to avoid in Antarctica ( where I was lucky enough to spend a year ), and we spent a great deal of effort to avoid it. https://content.time.com/time/subscriber/article/0,33009,914801,00.html At U.S. bases in the Arctic and Antarctic, the newcomer must quickly learn the 30-30-30 Rule of Survival: when exposed to a 30-m.p.h. wind at —30° F., human flesh freezes solid in 30 seconds.
  23. You are welcome and thank you for saying. Didn't get many thanks while doing the job. Given that everyone on here is likely to need a hospital at some stage try and thank the people that actually look after you.
  24. True, but how many buildings in LOS have solar panels on them, and that's in a sunny country all year round? Once again western politicians have got it wrong. They should provide the electricity and THEN go for EVs. Without sufficient electricity it's a non starter.
  25. Goodness me, those elites must be busy if they have as many as 170 associates. I'd be pushed to name over a dozen that would qualify as an associate. My bolding of the relevant part of the definition. https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/associate associate noun [C] (FRIEND) someone who is closely connected to another person as a companion, friend, or business partner:
