  1. Sounds ominous.
  2. "Simple" products are vegan and free of perfume. The brand is sold in Boots (maybe elsewhere too). I'm not sure whether they sell soap bars, but definitely gel. https://store.boots.co.th/products/simple-kind-to-skin-refreshing-facial-wash-gel/60d97ff7be6d1f3621ebc9bb
  3. Beer, sandwiches, and not having to wash the dishes?
  4. Balls of steel required to do those speeds on a public highway with opposing traffic. I broke out in a sweat just watching it.
  5. @VocalNeal Quite a few jokes here go straight over my head, so I'm happy to be able to clear up your confusion about this one ... In England Worcestershire is pronounced "wooster" (don't ask me why). For example: This is "Wooster" sauce ... Other examples of this strange phenomenon: Cholmondeley (pronounced “Chumley”), Featherstonehaugh (“Fanshaw”), Marjoribanks (“Marchbanks”), Brougham (“Broom”), and Beauchamp (“Beecham”).
  6. A glove or mitten on your right hand would protect you. (left hand if you are an old boy scout at a reunion).
  7. I really feel for you @Gallstone What a mess, and who would have guessed that children with British nationality wouldn't be allowed to leave Thailand without a Thai passport? Your missus and kids must be just as disappointed and as bemused as you are. Unless your wife is completely comfortable with Thai bureaucracy I would suggest you take a flight to Thailand and get everything sorted out here in person. If both parents attend the Thai passport office with all their documents (IIRC - birth certificates, marriage certificate, Thai ID card, copy of your passport) your kids will get Thai passports the same day. It took less than 2 hours to get my daughter's passport at the Pattaya office - staff there are exceptionally helpful IMO.
  8. Is it just me Noodle, or do some of your posts need some further explanation?
  9. And free for over 60's (but can't use the big slides). Only open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the moment.
  10. When walking near handbag or shoe shops I tend to speed up, whilst she tends to slow down or stop. The opposite applies when near a tools shop.
  11. She could have brought him down to Earth on her Churchill's Stair Lift.
  12. What is the benefit to the truck driver/owner? - Genuine question. I thought these rubber flaps were designed to reduce the amount of water being sprayed from the truck wheels onto other vehicles.
