  1. When a new extension date is given it is the same date forever unless they get another shortened extension.
  2. The the first 5 is village number and the 2nd one is the number assigned to the condo building.
  3. You will get a 45 day visa exempt entry (you cannot apply for a visa on arrival) that can be extended for 30 days at immigration. That is your choice. You can get the Lao visa on arrival at the border. The visa issued online costs a little more but it might save time when entering Laos. (See: https://laoevisa.gov.la/index )
  4. Thirty days is the longest they can do the report back date. At one time they could do another stamp but that was changed when they set the 30 day limit. That was discussed a lot on this forum when it was changed but immigration confirmed that the stamp allows you stay until you get the approval. A under consideration stamp cannot be done for a visa application. That is why they have the at least 15 days remaining on your stay rule todo the application. The waiting period is for the approval to be done by the division headquarters the office you applied at is under.
  5. Not an error. Normally they are written as 5/5 for village number and then house or building number for example. Mine has 3 digit numbers for village and house number (xxx/xxx).
  6. I have not been there for a long time. But then there was free parking on the road to the crossing. I think there are parking areas before the crossing as well. No extra charges that I am aware of.
  7. I would be interested in seeing the stamps done in their passport. Maybe their passport made a border run for a new entry.
  8. You probably don't have enough time left to get married and then apply for non-o visa (90 days) and then a extension of stay based upon marriage. After getting this sorted out you could apply for a multiple entry non-o visa based upon marriage at the consulate in Savannakhet. It appears your best option at this time is to apply for tourist visa at the embassy in Vientiane since you have used your 2 visa exempt entries at a land border crossings per calendar year. It appears you are now on a overstay if the November 15th number is correct. Have you extended that entry yet. Edit: If enrolled in a language school you could get a single entry non-ed visa and then 90 day extensions for a total stay of a year.
  9. Building Name/Owner Name: #519 The S Condo Address No.:5 5 Soi/Road: Siri Mangkalajarn Rd Lane 1 Drop down menus
  10. There is no written limit for the visa exempt entries Laotians since they are done under a bilateral agreement with Thailand. That is why they cannot apply for the 30 day extensions. It seems Nakhon Phanom is making up their own rules. Going to another crossing should solve that problem. Until March 31st they now get a 45 day entry.
  11. There is no rule or requirement that states you cannot work outside of Thailand if on a extension based upon retirement. Over the years I have seen many posts done by people that were working outside the country without a problem.
  12. I am sure they will want to see a longer stay than one at a hotel. If you could get proof from the hotel stating you will be staying longer than few days they might accept it. Immigration requires that to prevent people from going to a different office than where they are actually living to do the application.
  13. You have to apply for the re-entry permit at the immigration office where you are living unless you change your address to another office.
  14. Getting a new passport now is certainly the best option. You will need to get a new extension of stay before leaving the country. You may have to delay your trip to apply for it. You might be able to apply for the extension in late May if your extension is expiring in in early July. Or you could leave the country without getting a new extension before leaving and then starting all over again by applying for a new non-o visa at immigration and then the one year extension. You can apply for it with a visa exempt entry or the 30 day extension of it. You would need at least remaining on your stay to apply for the non-o visa.
  15. Entering after your re-entry permit expires would be the best option since you would only have 1 or 2 weeks to apply for a new extension. Immigration would give you a 45 days visa exempt entry that can be extended for 30 days. Then before you have a least 15 day remaining on the visa exempt entry or the 30 day extension of it you could apply for a non-o visa at immigration. See: https://www.immigration.go.th/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/9.FOR-RETIREMENT-PURPOSES-50-YEARS-OLD-NON-O.pdf
  16. I don't recall a report of that being and it would be illegal plus at a very high cost.
  17. Moved to the US & Canada Topics and Events forum. Where there is already a ongoing topic about the 7162 forms.
  18. You had a under consideration stamp with a report back date on it in your passport. That stamp allows you to stay in the country until your extension is approved and stamped in your passport. The report back date on it is just that.
  19. A letter from the company stating you are living at the house and its address should be enough. Proof of ownership would be needed as well.
  20. Did you intend to write inform them prior to departure. "intimate" ???
  21. Immigration cannot do it. It will require leaving and re-entering the country to get the 60 day stay from it.
  22. Several baiting and bickering posts have been removed. Time to end it now or a formal warning will be given.
  23. Probably a immigration officer that did not know what he was talking about. Many at local immigration office are not aware of the actual rules related to entries to the country.
  24. They do not do e visas. Just a appointment for the application is needed.;
  25. You could apply for your one year extension of stay based upon being the parent of Thai. Your wife does not have be with you. You could state she aboned you and the children if that is the case.
