  1. You could complete a TM8 form and put the photo on it. Along with copy of your passport photo page and extension stamp and not pay for their service.
  2. You would need to use the address shown on the TM30 report on the TM7 form and etc.
  3. Yes Here is a a list of the requirments: https://www.immigration.go.th/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/9.FOR-RETIREMENT-PURPOSES-50-YEARS-OLD-NON-O.pdf
  4. There is no minimum time remaining on you to apply for a non-o visa at immigration. You would only need the 12 months remaining to apply for the extension of stay. At the most you might need 15 months when taking into consideration the 90 day stay from the non-o visa to get the entire 12 months from the extension.
  5. Missed that part of you post. You only need 12 months on the day you apply for a one year extension.
  6. You can apply for the 30 day extension up to 30 days early at some offices. Then if you needed more time you could a apply for the 60 day extension to visit your wife.
  7. There no difference between the 2 visas when applying for a extension based upon marriage.
  8. He can get a 60 day extension to visit his Thai wife.
  9. You would first get the standard 30 day extension of the 45 day visa exempt entry and then you could apply for a 60 day extension to visit you wife.
  10. There is no financial requirement for your wife to apply for a extension based upon being a member your family. The non-o would only be valid for 3 months and allows a 90 day stay. You would then apply for a one year extension of stay that will be valid for one year. The near the end of one year extension you could apply for another extension. The 2000 AUD is all that is required for the non-o visa. They are not asking for the amount needed for a extension of stay. At other embassies or consulates they only ask for the equivalent of 20k baht required for most visa applications.
  11. Since you will be applying for a 30 day extension I cannot see a problem with using the TM30 they did. Immigration does not normally ask for anything more than the TM30 receipt.
  12. Did they give you copy of the report receipt or a screenshot of it they did it online. No need to stay in a hotel if the report was done.
  13. You can choose not be enrolled in part B and then get it later if you move to the US. I didn't sign up for it when I was close to my 65th birthday.
  14. That is in Phuket. I was thinking about Bangkok. Just stating others experience previously.
  15. It does appear on the Sydney consulate website. https://sydney.thaiembassy.org/en/publicservice/tourist-visa-multiple-entries Appartely the embassy failed to put it on their site. No mention of accommodations on that page. You could ask your relatives to write a letter stating you are staying with them.
  16. Basically yes. You seem to be worrying about a TM30 report being done. That is no longer required (Rule change June 2020) unless you change addresses or enter the country with a new visa since you have a valid multiple entry visa. You will need a letter from Thai Elite to confirm your Elite visa status to apply for the extension.
  17. I assume you were applying for a tourist visa every 3 months. That may be possible now but you might have to choose different embassies or consulates to get them. The easy route may be to apply for a non-o visa and then apply for a one year extension of stay based upon retirement. You can apply for the non-o visa at immigration. You will need at least 15 days remaining on your stay in the country to apply for it. You will need 800k baht in a Thai bank on the day you apply for the visa, See: https://www.immigration.go.th/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/9.FOR-RETIREMENT-PURPOSES-50-YEARS-OLD-NON-O.pdf Then during the last 30 days of the 90 day stay the non-o visa allows you could apply for the one year extension of stay. You will need the 800k baht to be in the bank for 2 months on the day you apply.
  18. For a visa exempt entry a Tm87 form is used to apply for the non-o visa. Chiang Mai immigration is located near the airport. Not sure where division 5 of immigration is located in Chiang Mai but that is not important since will not do anything there. If you have a foreign currency account the letter will have the balance in baht at the exchange rate for day it is written.
  19. The embassy keeps the old passport. It is not sent to the US. The application is sent online to the passport center in the US. If needed you could get it from them if needed.
  20. I got mine in June and it took about 3 weeks to get the new one. I made sure I had no need to do anything that required my passport while it was being done. I was not asked for passport while waiting for the new one. I made a copy of my old passport showing the photo page and my most recent extension stamp if it was needed.
  21. I know mine was received on October 13th. That is what tracking has as the delivery date and it was signed for by JD on the Thai post tracking. The 2nd 7162 is dated as October 27th. The notice sent with form states this on it. The 13th was within the last few days I would assume so I do not plan on sending a 2nd one to them. Almost the same as 2019 when I got the 2nd notice. Did not sent it then and my SSA payments did not stop.
  22. I am sure he was abbreviating Suvarnabhumi as SUV instead of the BKK airport code.
  23. The new form has a barcode on the right side of it that has your SSA number on it. It is certainly different than the 2011 form. In a earlier post the Manila office told a person the form could not be downloaded and used now for that reason.
  24. Probably not since you are already on a long stay extension.
  25. Probably not. That is the only form I can find. They don't have one on the Lao immigration website.
