Agreed. An inspiration to many. Deserves to do well. Some 35 odd years ago , Thai friends introduced me to badminton which until then I had underrated as a very soft option to tennis. Completely wrong. The slightly slower speed puts every point up for grabs and long exhausting rallies are common even for beginners.. Used to play after work from 9.30 pm until 10.30 with a friend. Totally exhausted , back to my place for a bong and watch a rented video with some munchies until about 1 am. Slept like a log until up for work next day.

I had zero luck with those seeds too. I hate to admit it but I think I fell for an elaborate scam. I was shown branches at the temple festooned with money and bought the seeds. Common sense deserted me.

The vegetable patch was at the rear of the garden but I gave it up since nobody ate the vegetables produced. Rather than let them go rotten I made lots of soups and put them in the freezer. The long bean soup was very tasty. Still have herbs scattered around along with mangoes,coconuts, papaya, jackfruit , starfruit, bananas and limes. Bumper crop of coconuts this year....which nobody ate so wife sold some gave others away. The only thing we produce which we eat all of is the limes. Been trying to source a back bacon tree or a cumberland sausage tree but no luck yet.

You might find there is some on site parking although it might be a bit limited. For fairly near free parking you could go into Bic Saphan Kwai then either take the BTS or if there are many of you a taxi would only be a 60 baht ( approx ) taxi ride away. Good shopping around there for after you have had your shots.

First , try clearing your cache and deleting cookies etc. Then try a different browser like Firefox. I have had issues with Chrome lately but everything fine on Firefox.

Not only tourists but Thais and expats. I live in lower Petchabun near Sri Thep. I frequently see the expats who live around here riding along in shorts , sandals and no helmets.. Only about 1 in 10 bothers to put a helmet on. One was killed two years ago in a head on collision. A helmet would probably have saved him. So if you are an expat living here .....wear a helmet and save yourself getting in the news for the wrong reasons.

I think Scotty Kilmer might take issue with that .
