  1. Had he been associating with people from India? I saw a 60 minutes spot some years back that explored this being a common way to “divorce“ your wife in India.
  2. And in the general those selected by AF don't have a snowballs chance in hell of getting elected in a majority.
  3. Are there no hospices here? I read about a place in CM that houses people with Alzheimer's, etc. that has a very good reputation worldwide. Maybe you could contact them and inquire what they do with patients nearing the end. Maybe someone else has the contact info.
  4. New HBO series has started to drop. https://thetvdb.com/series/burden-of-proof-2023 Burden of Proof When 15-year-old Jennifer Pandos went missing in 1987, her parents told everyone she ran away. Decades later, her brother Stephen begins a relentless odyssey in search of the truth. His investigation into the case threatens to destroy his family as he becomes strongly convinced that his parents are both implicated in the crime. As time passes, more threads unravel and new evidence comes to light, Stephen starts to question everything he has come to believe.
  5. Better to use a different provider.
  6. Nope. Sorry. ----- What do they do with spent nuclear fuel rods? Spent nuclear fuel can be recycled to make new fuel and byproducts. More than 90% of its potential energy still remains in the fuel, even after five years of operation in a reactor. The United States does not currently recycle spent nuclear fuel but foreign countries, such as France, do. https://www.energy.gov/ne/articles/5-fast-facts-about-spent-nuclear-fuel
  7. You visit the gym how many times each day? The general consensus is that your body needs time to recover between workouts. Not hours, but days. Probably more when you age. Try visiting the gym every few days instead.
  8. Yes. Trump is just as guilty as Pence in the theft of documents. The big difference is Trump will be locked up for obstruction of justice.
  9. The options at K-bank were a bit different. They were pushing 7 or 11 month terms which would revert to a 3 month (very low interest) term. A bit of pushing and I dragged out of them that I could get a 2 year term which automatically renewed to another 2 year term when done. Since this is only for immigration reasons, and I won't need to access the funds, I went with the 2 year term. Interest paid is maybe 1/2% higher with this one too.
  10. Thanks. It's always good to know the tricks. In my case they needed 2 days to activate my new bkk app access so it was faster to carry the cash. Second move has now been done and all 800k is in K-bank. We'll see what kind of issues I will have with immigration next year.
  11. Doesn't look like it's ever been released on digital. Looks promising though.
  12. Is the vaccine not here yet? Apparently from what I've read it's doing very well in the Philippines.
  13. No big deal. I have used torrents rarely in the last few years as I get my material from the same place the torrent sites do. All new releases go first to scene-rls dot net where they are put on some storage site. Files under one or two gigs are available from dropa for free download. Larger files are on nitroflare or rapid... which may require payment.
  14. I'm in the middle of doing this right now. 400k moved manually yesterday from bkk bank to k-bank account. Today or tomorrow I will carry the other 400k. I was going to transfer it electronically but there's a 50k daily limit so since my banks are a few blocks apart I decided to carry it. I could have done 50k 8 times, and the same for the second 400k but that seemed tedious. Immigration is the main issue. You have to make sure you can prove you always had at least 400k deposited. So don't do like one poster above and send 400k twice in the same day as you won't be able to prove it. Make sure you meet the 800k for 3 months after extension and 2 months before also. I think these are correct. My initial thread: https://aseannow.com/topic/1286838-changing-banks-how-and-when-to-move-the-800k-for-retirement/#comment-17908435
  15. If you were correct then all you can extract from the smoke will be done in a couple of seconds. Are you familiar with shotgunning? One way it works is a person takes a toke and then blows the exhale into another person's lungs. I know from personal experience that it is highly effective. If your assertion was correct, the shotgunning recipient would feel nothing.
  16. Please enlighten me how lungs work then. I didn't do so well in biology 101.
  17. To actually figure this out scientifically one would have to capture the exhaled smoke and analyze whether there is more active ingredients left when held for a few seconds or when exhaled when you turn blue. A bit of thought on this says it's impossible for your lungs to extract all the good stuff in just a few seconds so I'll continue to hold it in for a long time. Even moreso for dabs as there's so much more good stuff in there.
  18. So the labels on the drive clearly say 2tb and you're trying to squeeze more out of them?
  19. Welton is also accused of making threats in late 2022 against U.S. Marines and others working at the U.S. Consulate in Chiang Mai, Thailand. https://www.wral.com/story/fbi-american-living-in-thailand-threatened-to-shoot-dismember-staff-of-nc-senators/20886664/ --- so it looks like he was living around chaing mai somewhere
  20. https://edition.cnn.com/2023/05/30/politics/us-expatriate-arrested-allegedly-threatening-us-senators/index.html An American living abroad was arrested last week on a charge of threatening US senators and political groups over the number of unsolicited political emails he was receiving, the Justice Department announced Tuesday. Eric Charles Welton, who has lived in Thailand for more than a decade, allegedly made multiple threatening calls from overseas in 2021 to the offices of North Carolina Republican Sen. Thom Tillis and then-Sen. Richard Burr, according to court documents. Welton, 51, was arrested Thursday at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport as he returned to the United States from overseas, according to the Justice Department.
