The free long term care consists of them keeping you locked in a room and sedated most of the day. Need the ER? Waits over 10 hours are normal. Canada has 2 “pensions“. OAS (old age security} and CPP (Canada pension plan). CPP is like US social security where you pay a portion of your wages and get a pension when you retire. You need 40 quarters (10 years) of employment to get paid. OAS is for people who don't get CPP and is means and income dependant. If you don't live in Canada after retirement, you need 20 years residency to get your OAS overseas. I worked in Canada for exactly 40 quarters, the minimum. I also worked in the US for exactly 40 quarters, the minimum for full social security there. There is an agreement between Canada and the US where you can't collect both pensions. My us pension would be around 3k USD when I start to take it at 70. My Canadian pension would be about 500 CDN. Guess which one I'll be taking.

Plea deals are negotiated where a suspect will plea to reduced charges in exchange for testimony against co-conspirators in the original case. Of course the RICO charges were dropped against the person that agreed to testify. And also of course, if the testimony isn't as promised the RICO charges will be brought back. Let me confuse you with more facts. Please note the perps doing the plea deal won't be sentenced until after Trump, etc. are finished with the case, so if they reneg on their testimony commitments the plea deal is canceled. In this particular situation, the sentencing will probably be delayed until after ALL cases against Trump that they may need to testify in are finished.

I use Android tv boxes all the time. The only thing I'm concerned about is malware doing Bitcoin mining. This is high cpu usage stuff so I monitor the cpu usage when the box is supposedly idle. If it's under 10% then it's not infected.

Doctors, dentists, auto mechanics, rental agents, etc. will potentially tell whatever story they can come up with to make you part with as much money as they can. Next time: Get multiple dentists to look at it. Check ratings on Google. Post a thread here looking for references.

Just move into one of those retirement/assisted living places. First level is just like living in a condo with some cleaning and checks. As you age/deteriorate you get as much support as necessary, to the worst case with Alzheimer's where you can get 24x7 one on one care if needed. No need to try to entertain the wife/gf. No need to worry that the wife/gf will panic when you have a crisis, etc. etc.
