Russia Accuses Ukraine and Britain of ‘Terrorist Attack’ on Border City
Strange how cowards don't like the treatment they dish out, when the same is returned. If Putin looked into a mirror it would shatter into millions of pieces.

Iran launches new attacks, saying US will ‘bitterly regret’ sinking warship, calls for Trump’s blood
For a so called religious sect, I have to assume the followers of the Muslim faith, believe in the cruelest punishment for the most minor of crimes, and death to non believers. From what I read about the rulers of Iran, it certainly appears that way.

Norwegian Tourist Held at Phuket Over Torn Passport
Could his embassy not supply a temporary travel document? Or does that not apply in this instance? Not sure, is why I ask.

Change of passport number
I found the biggest problem was finding a bank with a short waiting queue. When you are 20th in line, a 2 hour wait is just a little to much.

Affordable legal support for UK expats through Legal Lifeline
I find it easier to contact my solicitors in the UK via email, then we setup a Zoom call. Any papers which need to be signed are witnessed first hand. I don't then have to wait for said papers to be posted from Thailand, with a possibility of being lost. IDIMW thanks

Is Gemini-AI now crapping-out in Thailand? Maybe, elsewhere, too?
I could never understand why my mother used to tell me to stay away from Pattaya, when taking holidays in Thailand. Thank you for answering the question I have worried about all these years.

Thailand's Top 5 Life Hacks
It all started when the lady said to the dentist, "I'm not sure which is worst, having a tooth out or having a baby?" The dentist replied, "Make up your mind madam, I need to know which tool to use."

Holes in Passport be aware
Try visiting Khon Kaen. You will find staples are easier quicker and cheaper that paper clips. When politely asked not to use staples, the venomous look I got from the IO was worse than any snake. And he still used a staple. I have stated here recently, the passport is the property of the issuing government and it is illegal to deface it.

Thailand - A positive thread
Yes, it could. They were offing to have a photo taken sat on a crocodile, and of course my 9 year old grandson was all for it. It didn't happen and i am please to say he is 38 now!

Thailand - A positive thread
My best experience was some years ago at the crocodile farm in Samut Prakan. Watching the crocodile show with my grand children, I had put my camera on the seat next to me, and on leaving just forgot it. I was more interested in making sure the two kids were safe. At the exit I was approached by a Thai guy who asked, 'Have you lost something, sir'. I realised straight off, my camera was missing and said so. He produced the camera, and pointing to the coloured sticker on it, and the one on my chest, he said, 'Had to be you, sir'. I tried to offer a reward, but he very politely refused and walked away. That camera was not cheap, and I consider myself very fortunate to have had it returned. More so due to the photos in contained.

Who's the oldest falang with a Thai drivers licence?
You are missing the whole point. 'FARANG" translates to "FOREIGNER", so what is your problem?

Who's the oldest falang with a Thai drivers licence?
Up to now, but it will change if barmy starmer has anything to do with it.

Who's the oldest falang with a Thai drivers licence?
I had cataracts seen to 3 years ago. At 81 it was the best thing ever as far as I am concerned. Prescription glasses previously were a right pain, but I have 20/20 vision now. As to depth perception, don't worry, it's like having eyes of a ten year old.

Political Parties Under Fire for Spending Without Revenue Plans
Sounds very much like socialists will be running the country again. It is a well known fact, socialist governments always but always, run out of other peoples money.

Wise: Transfer delayed - never experienced this before
Late receipt of funds into a Thai bank is not always the sender at fault. In most, but not all cases, it is the Thai bank withholding the funds. I transferred money from Revolut to Kasikorn on Tuesday at 09:10. Revolut stated within minutes it had been received by Kasikorn. However, it was not transferred into my account until Wednesday at 12:15pm. This has happened on one or two occasions with Kasikorn and with KrungThai. I can't speak for Wise as I have never used them, but did have similar instances with Nationwide Building Society UK in the past.
