    They don't make mirrors like they used to, and I've noticed its up hill to the bus stop now. I met a friend I hadn't seen in years, and didn't he look old!

    I feel sure the dog was pleased about the fine his aggressor received?! However, did the fine pay for the vet fees which I am sure the dog required?! The guy who did this to a dog for whatever reason should be dragged along the road on his bare ass, then left to suffer his injuries. But I guess being a mindless idiot, he wouldn't suffer.

    Honest answer is no. In my years of taking holidays in Thailand, I had never been in country in the rainy season. As I was due to retire in two years, I just decided to change to mid year. Was someone looking out for me? Was it a premonition? Or was it just happenstance?

    Then think how lucky I am. I was planning another holiday that Xmas and new Year, to stay at the Amari Coral Beach hotel. However, I changed my mind and changed to June that year. That is luck!

    I used to use one of those 1b M/C, but have gone all posh now. I now have an Amway water filter, which last about 12 months on average. Not cheap, but well worth the outlay for peace of mind.

    I am hoping the Judges find in favour for the schools and parents. I may then lead to other court cases against the brainless idiot we have as chancellor.

    You are , as is anyone else, entitled to your opinion. However, I tend to disagree with your opinion. If she is financially able to afford out sourcing her domestic chores for what she sees as other opportunities, then good luck to her. I get the impression you are not able to afford to out source your domestic chores, and are somewhat jealous?

    Exactly! If he is a doctor, he cannot be a professor! If a professor he has graduated beyond a doctor. BUT, we obviously have a clear case here, of the dumb leading the dumb, and therefore his arguments can be totally ignored.

    Personally, I have my doubts as to the ability of most Thai teachers to train dogs. Dogs don't ask questions, they just do as they are taught, same as kids in Thai schools. The thing most often on a child's mind is "Why"? But in Thai schools, "why" is a dirty word. Until the quality of Thai teachers abilities are up graded to excellent understanding of the subject they profess to teach, dumb kids will be the result.

    I had lens replacement due to cataracts 4 years ago. Best thing I ever did. 20/20 vision now.

    I learnt a lot about Thailand from people I worked with in the UK many years ago, but it most certainly wasn't a jump that brought me here.
