Kawasaki 650R 09 consuming a lot of oil?
seedy replied to Kawazaki650R's topic in Motorcycles in Thailand
Very easy fix - on most bikes. Off with the side cover, off with the engine sprocket, remove old seal, install new seal, reassemble. One Hour ? Probably less ! -

Might be the seal leaking from the output shaft, which the engine sprocket attaches to. Easy fix on most bikes. -
If you purchase the highest resolution - 4K - the picture quality will be much improved. 1080P at times the license plates are unreadable

Did you watch the video - or just not comprehend what the poster was saying in said video ?

Where can I buy quality noise-cancelling headphones?
seedy replied to StoneNovara's topic in Chiang Mai
Back in the day, when dinosaurs roamed the earth, I bought 4 Bose 901 Series 1. At that time they were made in USA. Now ... Some jobber junk slapped in a plastic cup with the name Bose on them. -
I watched it, and did not base my opinion on just one Video. Bias - isn't that an old style tire ?
-
In your OP you said 2000 THB

I hope that the investigation continues, perps ID'd, and lengthy prison sentences handed out. No matter which side of the mythical fence you stand on, this was Treason. Do I think this will EVER happen - NO Status Quo shall remain inviolate. -
Many on UTube - here is one ... Basically - the reviews I have read say "feels cheap, acres of hard plastic, choppy ride, noisy. Expect range in the real world to be around 1/2 of quoted

There you go.

Saw one at the motor sale today in CNX 1 million THB Read the reviews - not very flattering.

CC and Engine Power / Torque (Jaimaai's latest dumb question)
seedy replied to JaiMaai's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
Dyno results will prove it to be true. There are Honda Civics with over 1000 HP, but at what cost ? Engine life. If your criteria is urban, with 50-60 Km trips, then get something modest. Suzuki Celerio starts at 338,000 THB for a new car with full warranty. It ain't no luxury boat, but what do you need to sit in traffic half the time ? Or spend the $$$ and go EV as this is the exact scenario they are good for. -
Sorry for your Brother.

My reply more more in line with the sentiment of most Pro EV posters in this and other threads on the same subject. I would buy one in a heartbeat, but there are so many unanswered questions regarding long term ownership that I hesitate. First Adopters are great tho' - let them play guinea pig, suffer the teething problems and trials and tribulations of early ownership. Until there is service available here - and a record of how warranty claims are handled, it is just too much of a question mark for me to consider. ICE vehicles have been here for a long time and the service departments of all the major manufacturers are - for the most part - abysmal troubleshooters. "Let's fire the Parts Cannon at it until the problem is solved " !!! 555 Not withstanding that I have no more room under the car port for another 4 wheeler !

CC and Engine Power / Torque (Jaimaai's latest dumb question)
seedy replied to JaiMaai's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
If you want big power from small displacement then forced induction is the only way. This stresses all mechanical components in the engine and drivetrain. As has been posted above - don't expect these engines to have anywhere near the lifespan of a larger displacement naturally aspirated engine. Manufacturers do this to reduce the CAFE (corporate average fuel economy) number. There is NO free lunch.
