  1. So ... it is 'Real' to feel guilty for what someone else did in the past ? If you wish to believe that - go right ahead. When mankind first appeared, and person #3 was born, then it was 2 against 1. The world Was - Is Now - and Forever Shall be "Survival of the Fittest" In the Capitolocracy we now live in, "He Who has the Gold Makes the Rules" They are the 'Most Fit' ... for now
  2. Loved mine. Upgraded Turbos, pistons, rods. Had the heads flowed, stainless steel headers. Went like ... Seen a few in BKK for sale, thought of cutting my fleet down and getting one. But yet to pull the trigger.
  3. I never did any of those things, and refuse to apologize, make reparations to, or feel sorry for what happened 200 years ago. How far back do you want to go - should Genghis Khan's Mongol people apologize for what was done ? The world has to stop living in the past, resurrecting every harm done to one person by another.
  4. From your posts - you said an MG was a fast car - I find it hard to believe that you have ever owned anything remotely 'Fast' And I never mentioned 'in a straight line' Had a '67 Camaro that ran Hi 9's - street legal Had a Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 that went 0-100 in less than 5 secs. when stock, and I modded it to perform better. Four wheel drive handled mountain roads like a purebred. Embarrassed Porsches and BMW's
  5. It NEVER ceases to amaze me that EVERY time a dog attack happens in LOS, people come out of the woodwork and make excuses for the DOG !
  6. Do you remember reading about the 4 or 5 year old girl who was mauled by stray dogs in Doi Saket ? Do you know what was done to remedy that ? Nothing. And I know because it happened about 2Km from where I sit now typing this in my garden. Only 2 things wrong with your misguided, fantasy approach as quoted about. 1. No one will EVER do it 2. No place will EVER take them in
  7. Some nice ones in Mae Hong Son province. Altho water levels dropping so might want to get up there soonest
  8. In my experience most evaporator leaks require dash dismemberment. PITA. Big job. When had the CR-V in the shop they had a Lexus SUV in for the same job. Was amazing what needed to be removed ! Nothing left from the firewall to the rear seats !
  9. Here is a little single cylinder bike 100 Kg 60 HP
  10. Premium tires are a benefit on a bicycle. Same for motorcycles - no matter the size. When I bought the PCX in 2013 I rode on the stock rubber for less than a month before changing. Major difference.
  11. The shop I use does suspension work also. Front fork springs I dont know the brand but they have a kit to add a second spring in the front and both sides progressive. Rear shock is a YSS I think. No remote reservoir. Of course their springs are for Thai riders, but imagine he can source for heavier riders carrying baggage.
  12. Why spend that kind of $$$ and end up with a porky, plastic, better-not-dump-it - bike ? On my 2017 - Crash bars - can't remember as was 6 years ago Ohlins front and rear - 30,000 CB500X wheels with spacers and Metzeler tires - 20,000 300 conversion using all Honda new parts - 15,000 Small fuel tank solution - I have never needed in 30,000 Km all over the back roads of the North. Every little village has fuel.
  13. Laziness is the reason. I waited less than 2 weeks for both my bikes bought new. With the MU-X I told the dealer before I paid that I want the plates and books in 2 weeks max. And I got them.
  14. Tires are the ONLY thing keeping your bike on the road. If you want to run cheap tires, to save a few THB, go for it.
  15. That is the Tax 'sticker'. You purchase compulsory Gov't insurance first, which can be done at the DLT, take the receipt inside, pay the road tax, and get that 'rolled up certificate'. You can get it from the insurance company who sells you additional insurance, but save yourself the trip. If the bike is more than 5 years old it needs inspection first. Let the inspection station do all the paperwork for a nominal fee. Just did that with PCX and CRF. They have never been to the DLT ever since I took delivery. Inspection station needs the green book - here in CNX - to have the new tax paid entry typed in the green book.
  16. Find a 'Pretty' online - where it's at these days Go to any restaurant you choose with her.
  17. When I lived in Dawson, YT a small child was bitten by a dog wandering loose. City issued a warning - control your dogs or else. Hired a local who was given a Gov't pickup, ski mask, and a 12 gauge. After a dozen dogs were 'fixed' the problem went away. None of this bull manure about 'Oh the dogs are so kind when given a good home' If they had a good home they would not be running loose.
  18. This is by far the most realistic WW2 reenactment I have ever seen
