Not at all what I am saying. Not about fancy stuff. My grand-parents lived also till their late 80's. They did not put refined sugar in all of their meals. The oil they used were not used a the highest temperature, as possible, just to save time. I studied this with a friend, who was even more into finding out about food. After listening to so many doctors on the subject of nutrition, he finally started avoiding Thai food. And He would say: I thought I was eating healthy. So if you want to attack someone, the ad-hominem style, make sure to include all the doctors who spent years in studying the subject. When I stopped eating Thai food, my health got better. What you call 'nonsense'. Your family, same as mine, did not eat refined sugar in EVERY meal, as it is the case here. Thai people eat all of their meals with a content of more than 20% of refined sugar. That is not seen in any other country. In Laos, for example, they do not use refined sugar in their cooking. The fact that your parents lived till their their 90's, does not make sugar healthy, as they probably ate very little refined sugar. As it is the case in my country. When I first came here, I did NOT know that every meal, every sauce in Thailand contained refined sugar. The fact that you do not know and understand all that I am explaining, does not make it 'nonsense'.

Is that the best answer you can come up with. Be careful that you do not poison yourself with your food...
-
Well, if he cares to have a nice meal, without known poisons, and geography is not a problem, hehe. As long as he is aware of carcinogens, and what refined sugar can do on a long term, and that he could finally eat without feeling that something lethal in in his plate, let's go for it.

The only place where the cooking is done with good oils, Extra virgin olive oil particularly, at the right temperature to avoid oxidation and thermal degradation, using a home made sauce that does not contain the poisonous refined sugar, seems to be in my home kitchen. So I avoid Thai restaurants, as by definition would cook the worst food on this planet. All sauces, all of them, come from Super Cheap mini-mart or Tesco Lotus, and are laced with some 20% of refined sugar. I cook Thai food, but in a way that does not make it an ideal 'aid in dying'. Avoid all Thai restaurants, if you care for your health.

Deadly Altercation Erupts Among Friends Over 'Hitler' Drawing

Definitely the result of left wing politics on diversity. There was no such thing in my teen years. But I do remember the years when immigration came into play also. The news reported on a stabbing downtown Ottawa. We had never heard of such an occurrence. then the news explained that it was between Asian people, new immigrants... then we knew that something was about to change in our culture.... The importation of other cultures.... Referred to as 'diversity'. -
"The way I see it, you're in the wrong goddamned thread. " The way I see it, you should calm down, take some deep breaths, clear your mind, so you can get a small understanding of meditation. Which may I point out, you brought in this topic...
-
The way I see it, is that meditation is in no way related to delusions, like God or Jesus. I studied meditation practices, and I think that they are good for the mind and spirit. I studied Buddhism, and I thought that this was such a great belief system. So I was thrilled to come to Thailand, where that belief system was part of the culture. So I was surprised to see no such thing here as the Buddhism found in textbooks. I saw mainly selfishness, lack of emotional control, irresponsibility, and so on.

That is one of the main problem with diversity. We had gotten rid of such delusions like a God or a Jesus, and these people are bringing it back. Low IQ and low knowledge people, easy to brainwash with repeating the same delusional words over and over. They get to strongly believe in it....

Deadly Altercation Erupts Among Friends Over 'Hitler' Drawing

Well, Thailand, is just the champion at it. But I never saw any such action in my country, drunk or not... -
My son came here in Phuket as a visitor. Everything legal. He went on a trip to Patong with his girlfriend. He got stopped 6 times on that day. While their helmets were quite visible, he had to show his driving permit every time. While doing so, he could see al the Thai drivers go by, no helmets, phones in hand. At the Chalong circle, it is very simple, just about all young riders are stopped, with or without helmets, and checked for an appropriate driving license I presume. I go by wearing my helmet, along with so many helmetless Thai drivers, based on my age. The focus is only on young tourists...

The freedom of one ends where the freedom of the other begins.. Two very similar cultures meeting each other, where the freedom of others is not recognized. Good luck fixing that... -

In the past, there used to be good candidates to choose from as president. Strangely, it has recently been about choosing the lesser of two evils... -

And so he should. People who are addicted to any drug, should at least administer such drugs privately, in a way that is hidden from sight, and hidden from other people's knowledge. Be it heroin, cocaine, fentanyl, nicotine or meth, does not matter. They should keep their addictions private, and away from people's view, especially children. -
Shameful. Six high ranking police officers, for a case of trying to get people to 'willfully' buy goods, to boost someone's income. Lack of safety on the roads remains the same. Talking about trying to boost someone's income, my son on a one month holiday here last May, got stopped 6 times on one day, on a 20 km trip. He gathered that it was about trying to boost someone's income. He got stopped typically twice a day.... Shameful as it is.....

How about starting to use conventional intelligence to resolve this problem?

Thanks. I really enjoyed reading it, as I like to write also, even though primarily in French. The ability to write must be kept alive..... Regards..
