I feel your pain although I refused the shots. Had Covid once - a mild flu and no "Long Covid" afterwards. Best of luck but I doubt your going to find what you're looking for, and if someone does post an "alternative medicine approach" it will be promptly removed. You may want to add, "PM me with solutions" to your post.

BREAKING: Trump indicted again in election interference case
connda replied to FriscoKid's topic in Political Soapbox
If Trump takes the White House and RFK Jr becomes the US Attorney General - the shoe is on the other foot and the Democrats know it. Personally I detest Lawfare in all its forms, but the Left and the Democrats did open Pandora's Box and no one is going to close it again unless there is a second American Revolution/Civil War. And personally I don't discount that anymore. -
I find it amazing that laissez faire capitalists hail "free-market capitalism" until China out-competes them. If China "takes over the global economy" then good. I'm not anti-China, I'm pro free markets. If the US wants to compete, then compete. Instead the US and the West bitches and moans about the Chinese industrial base outperforming the West. And why is that? Because greedy Western corporations de-industrialized the US, the UK, and now the EU and moved their manufacturing base to China as well as other countries which supplied cheap labor. Now? Western governments and corporations whine and cry because The Communist Party of China created the conditions to out-compete the West. Me personally? I'd rather buy from China. I live in this part of the world, why not? As for as China "takes over the global economy" then 1 billion people in the West get screwed by their own governments who impose tariffs as the other 7 billion people in BRICS and non-aligned countries and Global South benefit from access to less expensive goods than the dying Western manufacturing base can supply at the same price. The West can't compete. So they complain. So Western governments impose tariffs and openly plan to go to war with China and just about everyone else outside of the G7. How the hell does anybody benefit from that idiocracy? "China bad!" Yeah, I keep hearing that but I don't agree. But feel free to express your hatred of China.

Often my wife will want to go to "The Cheap Store" next to Big C. She knows the quality of items there as do I. But we shop there because - items are cheap (inexpensive and quality). Caveat Emptor - we understand what we are purchasing. If I should purchase something from Temu and the prices are really cheap - the same applies. You don't get a silk purse from a sow's ear. If you understand what you are buying (and you should) then there is no reason to complain. just saying...

Tourist Boat Crew Member's Shocking Act Sparks Outrage in Thailand

Get real. If you have to take a dump while out at sea - that's what you do. Talk about asinine. By the way, most ships discharge waste right into the water. -

Do you laugh about the World now?

Nope. I shed a tear for the insanity that seems to rein supreme. It's like someone opened the gates of Hell, and hatred and avarice has flooded the lands, and instead of seeking higher ground, the majority dive in an begin to swim with glee and rage. I shed a tear for man's inhumanity towards man. I shed a tear for those under the jack-boots of their own governments. I shed a tear for the lies used to sway the most ignorant. I shed a tear for those who are so easily deceived. I shed a tear for the youth of nations who will be conscripted to fight and die for corporate greed. I shed a tear for the coming of a world war. I shed a tear for our children, grand-children, and future generations who may never be. Yep - your name is on the land deed. Like mine is on my wife's land deed. Plus she has a will that's gives everything on that land to me. Land goes to my son. I control the property until I die. Son can sell it after I kick the bucket. But - I'd much rather die before her. Less complicated. -

Advertise your "wealth" by wearing bling-bling, suffer the consequences. Personally I wouldn't be adorning myself with gold bling while selling noodles. -

The US government has changed the way they calculate inflation after the 1980 and after 1990s. John Williams ShadowStats shows both the 2023 "Official Inflation" rate compared to the inflation rates as the US government calculated them in the 1980s and 1990s and provides a visual comparison. It paints a much different picture that the graphic above. Why does the government change the calculation methods for calculating inflation - Because there are "Lies, Damn Lies, and Statistics." If inflation rises too high - change the way you calculate inflation and lie your asses of to the United States public. That's how it's done ppls and the fact they do it isn't even hidden. In the meanwhile, anyone shopping in the US knows exactly how bad inflation is regardless of the juked "official" rate and the "Happy Talk" from "official government spokespeople." By the way - it doesn't matter who was the president at the time. Those rate would have been the same had Trump been in office, or Alfred E Newman or Mickey Mouse. -

"This new theory of stupidity I have proposed here — that stupidity is not a lack of intelligence or knowledge, but a lack of awareness of the limits of one’s intelligence or knowledge." - Bobby Azarian, AlterNet Starting with the author of this stupid article who could be referred to as "stupid" based on her own criteria for judging ignorance and stupidity. Media Fact Check - https://www.alternet.org "We also rate them Mixed for factual reporting due to a failed fact check and the promotion of pseudoscience." -
Very sad. A passing of an era as well as a culturally iconic event. Well - I got to experience it when I lived there. I'm left with memories.

Thailand’s Casino Complex: 90% of Patrons Expected to be Locals

How do I define "hypocrisy?" Gambling is the scourge of society and we must arrest all participants of evil gambling dens. Gambling at casinos run by our connected and wealthy friends is good for society. -
"Yi Peng is a part of Loy Krathong celebrated with the release of thousands of sky lanterns into the night sky. In 2022 authorities banned the release of sky lanterns in Chiang Mai. Now, only a few privately organized events, such as the Chiang Mai CAD and the event near Mae Jo University, offer locals and tourists opportunities to enjoy traditional performances, witness the lighting of lanterns, and release their own lanterns into the sky." --Loy Krathong Festival 2024 in Chiang Mai - Asia Highlights, Dec. 7, 2023 Just repeating what I read. I lived in Chiang Mai until about 2014. Yi Peng was simply amazing. I have dreams of it and each year when participating on the streets, I felt the same awe. It's an amazing sight. And those lanterns were released en-mass outside of the "Paid To Play" venues especially around the Narawat Bridge area. So if there is a decrease in the release of lanterns then I can only assume that the sale of the lanterns is being suppressed and some kind of enforcement is in affect. As far as the airport goes, they know the festival's schedule and shut down air traffic during the times for the official release of lanterns. Those days are gone for me and I'm left with memories as I live in rural Lamphun and have no desire to drive into the cities - been there, done that. But I still recommend the festival to people in the US. But if the authorities have killed Yi Peng On The Streets for the average citizens, then I simply won't recommend it any longer as the iconic Yi Peng nights were magical. Leave it to government to mess up the magic.
