  1. I use CC w/o worry. Of about 700 items I've ordered over the last 8 years, FINALLY a few weeks ago, 2 of 3 of the same item didn't arrive. Not expensive. I raised a dispute with the seller. Denied, said their records show shipment of all items. Appealed to Lazada and got refund to my credit card as usual. If I'd taken delivery in person, I would have taken evidence from the delivery person. In this case, the logbook of the receiving security guard recorded that only 1 item had been delivered, so a photo of the logbook sufficed. Payment by credit card is just too convenient. I'll never go back to COD, haven't used it in years.
  2. One of our most beloved forum myths.
  3. SORRY! My bad. I had read your posts and gave a Like. That thought crossed my mind, that'd I'd quoted that troll from within your post, but then I got distracted and forgot to check. I managed to correct it just now. 🙂

You're welcome to try B300. Pay peanuts, get monkeys. Yep, inflation has been worldwide. What's the retirement plan, insurance, and holiday pay you're including with your B300?
  5. Then you admit you can eat healthy if you choose wisely, just as in the West. Not always, if you merely ask them to leave off the sauce or serve it on the side, as in the West. A non-sequitur for bashing purposes.
  6. They can, however. They do, but then again, so do farang men. They become enablers of their mutually unhealthy habits, same as in Western countries. You can have a fit, hot, good-looking older Thai lady IF you stay fit and healthy yourself (in your own best interests) AND encourage (insist) she do the same. Get her on low carb, in the gym regularly, and taking yoga classes. Takes time to get her on board, but it can be done, 'cause I've done it. Sounds good in theory, but the younger ladies who'd accept such an older farang tend to be immature, irresponsible, unreliable, gold diggers of the sort prompting so many horror stories here. Much to be said for older ladies who've worked in respectable jobs w/ an understanding of the real world and are more likely to have a modicum of sincerity. But I agree that it depends on the individual. Just talking probabilities.
  7. From your forum posts, obviously. I haven't talked to Immigration about you, the only reliable source. You may PM your real name and passport number, however. Duh. But you didn't check Thai media to verify there isn't an equivalent name in Thai already for Thais.
  8. Lot of decent webcams out there, check ratings and vendor. Verify on Amazon. Knockoffs can be quite good, however. I got a Chinese bargain from Aliexpress. Not one of our Approved® buying habits, however. Happy with it, and I've had Logitech, Creative, and Microsoft cams over the years. Costs a little extra, but autofocus is well worth it. As you probably know.
  9. Many CPUs are in the same state, meeting the requirements, but not on the supported CPU list. The reason is as follows: Windows 11 needs some security features like VBS. These features are not present on older CPUs. If you install Windows 11 on these unsupported CPUs, the PC security and performance are not guaranteed. --https://www.partitionwizard.com/news/processor-not-supported.html
  10. Incredible how they thought of that. Google CEO Eyes Atomic Power for AI Data Centers as Big Tech Seeks Nuclear Revival to Achieve Net Zero
  11. Did you check Thai media to see whether there isn't also a purely Thai name for the service? Would have been better, of course, also to have used the English "Good" instead of "Dee," to make you and other farang abysmally ignorant of Thai, despite having lived in Thailand for years, more comfortable.
  12. Serious attempt to go viral on social media. Worked.

    500 is more like it.
  14. I suggest not. Some vendors do that already, however. A possibly long delivery time is the tipoff.
  15. Feeling's mutual, obviously.
  16. True. Should have come to Pattaya in the first place. Live and learn.
  17. I never said, implied, or suggested anything about transferring a stock portfolio, and the topic has nothing to do with a stock portfolio.
  18. Having about 50% of the vote and a good chance of regaining the presidency and both houses means it's a viable party. The opposing platform is laid out here: 2024 Republican Party Platform opposed to what's known of Kamala's leftist "values that have remained constant." And good 'nuff for about half the electorate, the rest brainwashed and kept ignorant by media propaganda for Biden/Harris/Walz. All you mean is that, as with most rants here, you don't like the opposition. Oh, well. No, that would simply mean a permanent takeover of the gov't by loony leftist thugs. Most on the forum would approve, but a few of us here wouldn't, along w/ about half the electorate, the race being pretty even at the moment.
  19. The old-fashioned way: bank transfer.
  20. It's been happy here for quite some time. You may report me to our ANF Poster Banking Regulators.
  21. Yup, been there, done that. Don't miss them days. Move the jumper? We're into SATA now, not IDE. OP, next time try a different USB port before anything else.
