Got my jab this afternoon, now fully boosted. Vaccination station for Moderna is in the car park of the Bangkok Hospital. Not very busy, all done in 45 minutes including half an hour waiting period after vaccination.

Both Sinovac and AstraZeneca were being used from end of February 2021, though the amount of AZ was only what could be supplied from outside Thailand. Locally produced AZ became available from 6th June 2021. The mixing of the two vaccines started 14th July 2021. However, vaccination rates didn't pick up until August September 2021, there were still only 1 million fully vaccinated people as of end May 2021. But by September over 2 million were being added per week, by December over 40 million people had been fully vaccinated. The current figure is approaching 49 million. That's a seriously bad habit!

Longest without a haircut during lockdown was 16 weeks. I normally have my hair cut every six weeks, coincidentally I was at the hairdresser today. The same lady in Hat Yai has been cutting my hair the last ten years. It used to be Bht150 for a cut & shampoo with scalp massage, these days it's Bht200. I let my wife and daughter loose on it once, never again. .

Moderna has arrived. I received an SMS from BHH today asking me to select when I wanted my jab. This will act as my booster, I've had 2x AstraZeneca. .
