  1. Agree. For me it's an annoyance and not more. So many failed attempts and as you describe you have to take off your glasses and then can't read the instruction.
  2. I have done and it's a pain in the a... Very unreliable, drives me nuts. SCB and Kasikorn don't care about this new idea.
  3. Watching this news anchor is funny stuff. Could someone donate him a pair of glasses or bigger print Sure. That was not by chance. And carrying 3.3 million (3300 notes at least) is quite a big pouch. Would fit in a full size rucksack.
  4. And better for your health. (after reading many articles about the potential serious health impact of that stuff) An attack particularly on the young generation.
  5. Instead of lenghty links: you can start at Lazada and search for: 4G yagi antenna Prices vary widely. Hard to say whether it makes the difference. One of the more pricey antennas (1590 Baht): (link manually cut down) https://www.lazada.co.th/products/4g-yagi-antenna-3g4g-g-antenna-yagi-antenna-25dbi-4g-lte-sma-male-outdoor-antenna-directional-booster-amplifier-modem-i2333786256-s7896049269.html Cheap stuff: https://www.lazada.co.th/products/428dbi-4lte-smab-ooster-a-mplifierrg58-15wifi4sma-i1773302517-s5162382562.html Even parabolic antennas available: https://www.lazada.co.th/products/4g-lte-antenna-224dbi-mimo-antenna-1700-2700mhz-parabolic-grid-antenna-outdoor-antenna-with-cable-i3965347912-s15334877872.html Complete over 3000 Baht.
  6. You think a directional antenna for 4G (mounted outside) won't do the job?
  7. I think the OP refers to that "NT Thunder" (band 40). And seems the OP uses it "fixed"/stationery. You say that from reading/viewing the offers/specs?
  8. Technically she can but violating rules strictly looked at. Using your card would require to give her your PIN and card (violating terms and conditions). Another option: if she is Thai (ID card), simply give her the cash and your account number. She can pay to your account at the ATM but has to identify with her Thai ID card. Don't ask me how it works exactly. Going to the counter is bulletproof (again she will be identified with her ID card).
  9. Did you specify which model/year you have? I see a site with rotors for Honda with prices from 1880 to 5880 Baht. No original Honda part of course, company name "Runstop".
  10. Relax, relax. It's just rain as some clever dicks will tell you. Wonder whether they would be that relaxed if their house and car are washed away.
  11. Out of curiosity I tried fake data with a UK VPN location years ago and it worked. Can't tell whether they have sharper measures now. Best safety from being recognized as being on VPN is a dedicated IP (yours exclusively). But costs extra.
  12. For general improvement of stability and equally good speeds to anywhere it's Singapore. Singapore has an uncountable number of undersea cable landing points (30?). Coming and going to about everywhere.
  13. I hope I got it like i described above. SW can't guess if or where you want a decimal point. They could separate the input into a Baht and a two digit satang field. But you can bet that soon someone else will dislike it. Problems with copy/paste etc.
  14. Bangkok Bank app: If you enter 1451537 in the edit without the dot this ends in: "1451537.00" before you hit confirm. So would send 1.4 million Baht (likely stopped by limits). Make a proposal how to improve. Some people simply want to send 14515 Baht. They wouldn't be happy if 145.15 is sent. I grew up in one of the rare countries where a decimal comma(!) is used and dot as separator. 14.515,37 Believe me I have to be very careful when changing between apps here and there 😊
  15. Surprised that I can't find anything in the news yet? Thai internet full of really bad flood damage, pickup drowning in the floods. Mud covered roads etc. https://thethaiger.com/news/phuket/heavy-rainfall-disrupts-flights-and-floods-phuket
  16. Using a VPN? Or testing to a Singapore server? Which speed test?
  17. It's indeed a HEV (hybrid) assuming it's a 2024. So maybe lost in translation. Before 2024 simply an ICE.
  18. Seen often, grandma in the truck, engine running. Seen more often: truck engine running on the parking lot, family at Sunday shopping. And here it was obvious that they wanted to "park" the blag in the car with AC running. Me too. Toyota Yaris. My old Mazda 2011 has a key with traditional remote. And Toyota is paranoid about auto locking. At this car I can not disable it. But fortunately it seems inactive for a parked car with running engine. And they tell me the car won't lock if the fob is forgotten in the car?
  19. Until years ago my German bank reimbursed. Stopped. Don't even know whether they charge a fee for cash because I haven't used a foreign card at an ATM here since nearly 10 years.
  20. As written not relevant for credit card withdrawals. Differences only in cash exchange.
  21. Ad written above decline any offer which shows your currency on display. This indeed means that the Thai bank can fix the rate ("DCC" scam). Terrible rates! You have a whole bunch of wrong ideas about using foreign cards at a Thai ATM. And you don't give the important information: What type of card is it (credit card?) ? Issuing card organization (VISA, Mastercard, ...?)? This would allow to look up the rate that you get at a Thai ATM. And that's the same at every ATM (at least from reputable major banks).
  22. Two fairly recent threads about one year SIMs: https://aseannow.com/topic/1324616-am-looking-for-new-dtac-sim-30-mbps-unlimited-download-1-year/ https://aseannow.com/topic/1283854-whats-the-best-1-year-package-unlimited-ais-dtactrue/page/2/
