Don't you think the other bank will cash in for using THEIR equipment. I had no particular problems with SCB ATMs. Had often used Bangkok B. ATM at SCB. At the big malls SCB has the most up-to-date fancy machines. But I mostly use cardless withdrawal nowadays.

Based on the figures presented I can only confirm that there is a huge gap. Your math is correct and the overall rate is less than 30! Check with SCB whether they can give you the exact details of the transfers. Has it initiated in GBP or already converted to THB in the UK which might be bad.
