Seems covid is transferred by car but not motorcycle

Would you say what province that is? After reading in the news that PM orders governors to prepare measures against Covid increase I fear the worst. Maybe again every of those little Napoleons wants to proof he is the toughest. Even the much criticized health minister seems a bit ahead with understanding that there is no stopping Omicron. Here there is some Covid panic every day. Don't cough, don't sneeze. But not having seen any closures or cordoned off quarantine houses since months. A mate's wife went ballistic after learning that one of her girls friends was positive. And after a day she knows that the excitement was unfounded. -
Can't contribute about your bank but I failed with trying to register some security SW on my mobile by SMS. And that was from Germany and to AIS. SMS never arrived.

This was last year? Or having same day again this year? Khon Kaen never made a problem about that. But sounds like there is new order. -

Surprised? Omicron flooding like in many other countries. Better think why the numbers are so low and where they will peak. Daily: 250k in Germany, 400k in France, ... -
Looks like Thaiger does a regular update of numbers in clear text: https://thethaiger.com/coronavirus

Found a source for raw numbers. And in Thai. Not very convenient. For hobby programmers https://covid19.ddc.moph.go.th/ Member @Eaglekott updates numbers in this thread:

By theory: they could decide to also refuel. Flying BKK - HKT with little fuel and then fill up for to the second leg. (less then for the whole route) Might save some fuel in total. That's for aviation experts.

Very clear, EY431 going from Bangkok to Abu Dhabi with a stop in Phuket to pick up passengers. You can book the same flight number from Phuket to Abu Dhabi. Of course you can not leave the plane and enter the airport.

New ATM charges?
KhunBENQ replied to songmaew's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
You get around the 220 Baht of the Thai bank added to the withdrawal? 220 is more than 1% of a typical 20k withdrawal. This alone is worse than transferwise for example. -
Enjoy your weather in Pattaya! I just saw mid range predictions for our area. For Feb, Mon. 21st they show max(!) temperatures of 20 to 22 C (around 70 F). Can't remember having experienced such weather before. Hope their computers have gone wrong. This is for Pattaya: https://meteologix.com/th/forecast/1614295-pattaya/xltrend/euro/temperature (I usually remove all but the *-ECMWF curves) More rain to come.

A 100 Euro would end in 3554 Baht. TW 3620 Baht. Not a big headache for a single transaction.

Free at your bank? Even if in this case they will hide cost with a bad rate or some intermediate banks grabbing money
-
(wrong quote) Just did a check about Western Union with their website. Sending 2000 Euro would result in 71092 Baht. If I would send 2000 Euro with TW it would result in 73111 Baht. 2000 Baht lost with cr*p rate. One Baht less per Euro WU only if there is no other option.

Indeed. Tell this at Greta world and they get a nervous breakdown. Diesel being the most targeted transport.

Allowed or not, BOLT works. Announced price to Patong was 400 Baht. Driver haggling to 500. I reported him. And a quite noisy unpleasant ride. Back to airport: long wait until a driver accepted/moved. 500. Pleasant ride. A game of luck.
