  • According to your OP and title (Now I'm slim, what diet to aid muscle mass increase?).   You're not going to attain any decent level of muscle mass on your current exercise regime. All that

Think I worded my milk comment incorrectly. Thai people don't drink nearly as much milk as we did in Farangistan, nor Yoghurt. Miss eating 300/400 ml of it in one go - & then feeling way too full.

And then, there's Cheese!

Cheddar, Camembert, Edam....& Gouda!

Lets not forget my favourite....Crumbly Cheshire.......5170.gif.ba136bce7559e4af953356724f4659cc.gif

I don't know where you live, but cheeses of all types are available in supermarkets in Pattaya. The choice is too big, but the prices are high.

Baked beans are a magnificent  source of protein; however, one must work very hard at keeping a straight face during training sessions.

6% protein. Not much. Excellent for farting though. Add curry and eggs for pro farting.

Im sure it works just like 5 x 5 but just find doing low singles hard when i train alone. I prefer higher reps in my program. Does not mean its not a good program just not really what I like doing and it couldbe dangerous to me doing so alone. I focus a bit more on other programs. Truth is all programs work till they don't. Need to change it up after a while.

I change it up every 2 weeks.

There is a program like  that that changes it up every 2 weeks.. but its probably not the one you mention. It has high volume weeks, lower volume weeks and an other.. 3 phases per period. For the life of me I can't remember its name but i was interested in it in the past. Never really got to it as it was quite technical (works a lot with percentages from 1RM) and it would take a time to find the right weights too.

Normally I change program after 2 months.

I just mix it up to make it more fun.

I am bit more structured its in my nature, both things could work depends a bit on who you are and how you respond to training. Though I don't really change my exercises much, i found those that are most effective for me and keep them. The change happens in volume (reps - sets) and pauses.. and speed of the movement.

My preference stays with higher rep based programs, 5 x 5 worked good for me but that is about as low as I want to go reps wise. I also got bored with it as the true 5 x 5 is centered around the big lifts and does not leave room for much other stuff. But when I did it I did gain muscle and strength. Its a solid program especially for beginners good for linear progression.
