You asked : 1). How many UK citizens are resident in A) Thailand, Indonesia and C) Vietnam. 2). how many in each country are UK State Pensioners. 3). Are there any figures available on known deaths in those countries. 4). Can cause of deaths be given. Outcome of Search I am writing to confirm that we have now completed our search and that the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO)does hold information relevant to your request. However, I can provide thefollowing figures for deaths as requested in questions 3 and 4: It should be noted that it is not mandatory for British nationals to report incidents to the FCO(or one of its diplomatic missions) so consequently the figures provided cover incidents onlywhere we have offered Consular assistance. We also offer Consular assistance toCommonwealth nationals in non-Commonwealth countries where they do not have anydiplomatic or consular representation, and to EU nationals who are otherwiseunrepresented.
