My wife's family are planning to build a four family condo on a plot of land in central Bangkok. Everything is in place, the design, building contractors  and so on. The only thing missing is planning permission.

We applied five months ago and after two or three weeks was told to make a small change. Ok we changed as they asked. Three weeks later another change.

This has been going on for five months now and we even offered 50,000 baht to "speed up' the process, but received no reply.

The Thai family just smile and say "mai pen rai", but I am getting impatient as it is costing a lot of money in extra rental fees.

Does anyone here have experience in getting planning permission approved?
