Hello, Having had a failed visitors Visa application in December we are going to try again in march but my main worry is my work.

I have been in catering for over 20 years but the last two years i have been property developing. I dont have any accounts as yet so have no proof of income!

I am currently negotiating buying a cafe business again which should complete in febuary, How will the Embassy see this? Because,

1, No proof of income.

2, Will they think i just want her to work for me, which is not the case! we have talked about marraige and a future together.

Any advice welcome,thanks

For a visit visa, you don't necessarily need to demonstrate employment, just that you have sufficient money to pay for your girlfriend's trip, if, indeed, you are financially sponsoring her. However, the embassy might wonder from where you derive your money if there is no apparent employment, whether employed or self-employed.

As a starter, I'd get your accounts up to date.

Scouse.
