Hi, just a quickie...

I have recently had our marriage certificate translated and certified by the MFA.

Is there anything further that i need to do for a UK settlement visa application as regards to this translation (i.e. register the marriage at the British embassy...) or is this document the "Marriage Certificate" detailed on the embassy checklist and therefore valid for the application?

Many thanks

You're under no obligation to record your marriage with the UK authorities ( and to be honest, to do so serves no real purpose). The Thai marriage certificate and a translation will be perfectly acceptable.

Scouse.
