Bangkok police say dangerous "Door Knocker Rapist" is Korat man

Police in Pak Kret have got an arrest warrant for a 27 year old man who they say is terrorizing the Muang Thong Thani housing estate.

The hunt is on for Chanon Thongrort who comes from Bua Yai district in Nakorn Ratchasima.

Police say he is likely still prowling the estate for victims.

Four women have been attacked since the start of September at blocks C6, C7 and C8.

He is described as dangerous.

Earlier this week he attempted to rape a 15 year old woman in a stairwell. She managed to get away and report to police.

Earlier this month he attacked three women in their own homes. His method was to knock on the door and if finding women alone he would burst in and rape them.

Earlier this week he attempted to rape a 15 year old woman in a stairwell. Yesterday a media story talked about under age girls entrapped in fake modelling jobs, ages 17 and 18.  Amazing how at 15 she is a woman and as she gets older she is a girl?

A man suspected of being the man known as the "Door Knocker Rapist" was arrested hiding in his home town of Bua Yai in Nakorn Ratchasima yesterday.
