BANGKOK — Police said Wednesday a case involving two businessmen mugged for over 197 million yen Monday would be easily solved.

 

Investigators Wednesday were reviewing CCTV footage of the location where jewelry and gold traders Kiatiphong Phungyim and Jiraphat Phitakkijawattana said they were robbed of Japanese currency worth over 60 million baht at a condominium in Bangkok’s Chatuchak district.

Well of course! It's the RTP. They can solve any case. Especially when they test for DNA. 

I just wonder how rare those 10,000 yen notes are.  Do many tourists routinely bring them to Thailand such as USA $100 dollar bills?

Too risky changing large amounts of Yen here,suspect it would make its way back

to Japan,or down to Malaysia or Singapore.

They are the most common Japanese currency denomination bought/sold at exchanges, so yes like USD100 notes.

Not difficult means simple !!!
