May I through the medium of this forum say how very satisfied I was with the treatment by all hospital staff - from the Surgeon to the Admission staff that I received during my recent admission.

The Surgeon -a urologist - was brilliant as we're the aneasetis, operating room staff and the ward nurses.  I was treated with the utmost politeness and having to pay the bill myself, very surprised at the bill which was far lower than I expected. 

 

Pattaya is very fortunate to have such a five star facility.

May I ask what the procedure was and how much it costs. ?

For the OP's benefit, the doctor you choose (or are assigned to) is probably as/ or more critical than the choice of hospital here in Thailand. 

 

A good, first hand recommendation is very valuable information for anyone who may be having similar issues.  Especially since Thailand's defamation laws prevent publishing any negative reports naming doctors or institutions.

 

Yer ..great hospital mate.....I had a neck brace fitted there 2 years ago...........

The doctor I chose and who i thought was excellent was Dr Pornchai Chayaboon.  The procedure was to remove stones from the bladder and to remove a urethra stricture.  The personal cost to me was 102, 000 baht which is far cheaper than the private hospital in UK that I would have gone to.   Plus I negated the need to travel to UK and the cost of an air ticket..

 

Of course I appreciate that it is only possible to speak as one finds, but in my case I cannot praise the hospital and medical staff enough for the treatment I received.
