Ratchanok and Tai square off in Denmark semi

Ratchanok Intanon has a Herculean task waiting for her in today’s semi-final of the Danisa Denmark Open as she faces world No 1 Tai Tzu Ying of Taiwan this evening.

 

The world No 9 on Friday upset third seed Sung Ji Hyun of South Korea 21-13 21-18 in the quarter-finals.

 

The Thai who won two titles in the Grand Prix Gold level this year at home and in New Zealand is hoping to end her three losing streaks to Tai. She lost their latest meet in two games in the Australian Open in June.
