Hi all,

I have just posted my application for a fiancee visa to thailand and have just read that the copies of my passport should have been certified. :o I have also just been informed that i should have included a copy of my birth certificate.

My girlfriend has stayed in the U.K with me recently and i stupiditly just updated the first visit visa application to a fiancee application.

Am i best off letting the application go as it is and hoping the fact she has visited the U.K and abided by her first visa will be enough to get her through? OR forwarding the missing documents to Thailand at a later date and waiting before we start the application.

Thanks in advance

Steve

Why do you say "stupidly" dont you want to get married now or has she changed her mind about wanting to settle in the UK? Do you mean she returned to Thailand and made an application for a Fiancee Visa?

I don't think it's the end of the world, not having your passport copy certified. Additionally, I don't see the relevance of submitting your birth certifcate as they have a copy of your passport. What is more relevant is that your girlfriend has visited you in the UK and complied with her conditions, so, unless the application is very poor, you should be allright.
