‘Sad’ woman, 55, found dead in wheelchair in Roi Et house

By The Nation

A 55-year-old woman who lived alone after being abandoned by her husband was found dead in her wheelchair Sunday evening following the deaths of her mother and brother, said a relative.

Her uncle, Kowit Intrikanon found the body of Watcharin Jensrakhu in her house in Moo 1 village in Tambon Srakhu in Roi Et’s Suvarnabhum district when he visited her to provide her dinner.

Police rushed to the house and found a note asking that someone make merit for her son, who was killed in a road accident two years ago. Doctors believed the woman died about six hours before her body was found.

Kowit said the woman had been using the wheelchair for three months after join paints prevented her from walking.

He said his niece became depressed after her son died two years ago and her husband late left her.

Kowit said Watcharin became sadder when her mother died of old age two weeks ago. On Friday, her only brother also died.

Kowit said he visited Watcharin every day to give her food but she stopped eating three days ago, saying she would drink only Ovaltine hot chocolate.

So sad.

Her heart couldn't bare anymore pain and sadness.

R.I.P. Hope now she found rest and peace.

What a sad sad story. No one deserves so much heartache in such a short space of time.
