Four Phuket tour bus staff arrested for illegal gambling

PHUKET: Four tour bus staff were arrested on Saturday (Nov 11) after being caught gambling on a high-low game while sat in the luggage compartment of a bus parked in a bus depot in Rassada.

 

The arrest of the four men were made by Muang Phuket District Chief Wikrom Jakthee along with Commander Ratchapoom Nanthawisut from the Royal Thai Navy Third Area Command and others behind the PTT petrol station on Thepkrasattri Rd in Rassada at 2:30pm on Saturday.

wow .... major gambling syndicate busted here. 4 unfortunate guys killing time. 1340 baht confiscated.

 

I've seen Thai guys bet much much more on a single golf hole.

 

Yes, I suppose they broke some law, but what a waste of time for the cops involved. Phuket District Chief of Police, a Navy Commander and others !!

 

What the hell were they doing at this piss-ant nothing situation ?

 

You'd think these senior officers would have something .... anything .... better to do with their time. Nah, photo opportunity.

 

A junior cop with a message "pack it in now boys, you've been dobbed in" would've been sufficient.
