webfact Posted November 15, 2017 Posted November 15, 2017 Facebook posts lead to brutal murder of "friend" in southern Thailand Picture: Daily News Two friends murdered their buddy because he made posts on Facebook that caused arguments to break out between their families. Witthawat Jaengjai, 36, and Suriya Phonwichai, 33, were furious with their friend Wirat Singsit, 37, over his posts on the social media platform. So with murder in mind they invited him out for a drinking session at a "khao tom" (boiled rice with condiments) restaurant in downtown Thung Yai in Nakorn Sri Thammarat province. When they were all drunk they traveled together in a Toyota pick-up stopping by a palm plantation where they confronted Wirat. They said he denied causing trouble for their families with his comments on Facebook. So they got a rifle and shot him twice. They then dragged the corpse into the palm plantation where it was later found. Police got warrants for the arrest of the two men yesterday. They admitted to a charge of premeditated murder as well as weapons offences. Source: Daily News -- © Copyright Thai Visa News 2017-11-16

Bob12345 Posted November 16, 2017 Posted November 16, 2017 For premeditated murder it is one of the dumbest plans i have ever heard. It is pretty clear the body will be discovered the next day if you leave it "in the open" and many people have seen you with the victim right before he got killed. Sometimes Thai education standards are just fine, makes it easier for the BiB to solve a case or two a year.
catman20 Posted November 16, 2017 Posted November 16, 2017 i dont do this Facebook crap, i hear nothing but problem caused by it
anon789561 Posted November 16, 2017 Posted November 16, 2017 like the way the bib has his hand rested on his shoulder "it's alright lad, he spoke bad on facebook about your family. now this family of yours, what is their financial situation?"
mercman24 Posted November 16, 2017 Posted November 16, 2017 so, pre meditated murder then, dont these idiots ever think of the consequences then? well obviously not , as we read of this thing happening many times, and now i just read a thai wife killing her husband because she found a condom in his pocket, last in the queue when brains were handed out.

But isn't the Thai education system part of the reason why Thais think it's ok to kill someone be a use they annoyed them?

People drinking in bars and talking to each other leads to fights and deaths , so, lets close all the bars down, make alcohol illegal and ban people from talking to each other , that would solve that problem
