I´m searching for a place to buy the typical Thai plastic plates etc. the street vendors use.
Who knows any place where they sell them online?

In Chiang Mai you can buy them at Chiang Mai Plastic (not Plastics) in the Warorot market area.  Very big store, everybody knows it.  They have a large inventory of the three basic street vendor colors of white, pink and blue, plus a more upscale version in beige with a pretty rose border.  Big plates, little plates, three or four sizes of bowls, serving platters, coffee cups, etc.  The mind boggles when you see their inventory.

Thank you so far, unfortunately I´m not in Thailand, not going there soon either, so I´m looking for somewhere where they sell them online. Thanks Nancy for the lead to CM plastic, unfortunately no website (non accessible).

Depending on your country, melamine plates should not be hard to find.  The original thermoplastic plates.  Melamine coffee cups turn black with age.

Once visited a family in the USA that had a big set of old pewter plates.  Probably leaded, but they used them for backyard picnics because they wouldn't break.  Until they realized that only one other complete set was in a museum in Philadelphia.

Yeah, look in Amazon under melamine dinnerware.  Large selection.  Many sets are described as "campware"  but look rather fancy by Thai standards.
