Renal artery angioplasty - interventional cardiologist or vascular surgeon?

Featured Replies

Hi.

Looking for recommendations for a good interventional cardiologist / vascular surgeon here in Bangkok for significant Renal artery stenosis. AFAIK, both do the procedure.

Just looking for any advice on who to consult; and would appreciate feedback from anyone who may have had a similar procedure done here.

Thanks

Thank you for the referral Sheryl. Will call them up tomorrow and see if i can get an appointment.

Is the recommendation based on personal opinion, if u dont mind me asking?

Also, Are you familiar with a Dr Visuit?

It is based on his qualifications and experience specific to renal stenosis.

Dr. Visuit is an excellent intervention cardiologist but I don't know if he has any experienced with renal artery stenosis, most intervention cardiologists in Thailand do n, botut no harm in asking him and I would trust his reply.

Thanks a lot for the clarification Sheryl.

Will probably see them both as i often feel a second opinion is beneficial.

Thanks once again. [emoji1317]
