Did you bother to read the full article? "two jet-ski operators were fined for parking on footpaths, and two vendors with sidecars operating from the sidewalk were also fined. One umbrella rental operator was also fined for parking their car on the beach." Edited December 5, 2017 by Psimbo

DrDave Posted December 5, 2017 Posted December 5, 2017 No mention as to the amount of the fines. Most likely, a minimal amount and the encroaching vendors will be back to business as usual shortly. I would think that confiscation of equipment for a period of time would be more effective in avoiding repeat offenders.

FitnessHealthTravel Posted December 6, 2017 Posted December 6, 2017 "It's such a nice day today, let's go down the beach for a stroll and grad a bite and a beer" "Oh wait...we'd better fine a few people while we're down here so it looks like we're working. How about those silly surfers, yeah...they'll do"

You do the nation proud with your military service that has obviously prepared you for such challenging missions. Will there be a recommendation for a beach umbrella or surfboard medal? Seriously, four military, one civil servant and one police officer seems overkill for law enforcement in this case.
