Tailor Recommendations

Hi,

 

I'm going to be back in Samui in January and looking to get a couple of suits whilst i'm there, has anyone got any recommendations for a good tailor around the Lamai area?

Cannot help with any locations, but by experience, I have noticed the tailors  do a better job if you give them a model of a suit (or a shirt) that fits you well.

 

Furthermore, some of the tailors who do a good job, have hiked their prices and it is not always a good deal to have it made in Thailand through a quality tailor. As for the  US$ 100.-- + 3 shirts free are to be avoided like the plague, unless you are not that much finiky on the quality of the cut and the finish.

 

In Europe today you can find very good quality ready made and well fitted suits for 250 €uros, if you look around a bit and wait for the annual sales.
