Fireworks NYE

Featured Replies

The local news on 103FM said today that there were going to be fireworks down in Pattaya waterfront at midnight on NYE

A rather unusual question for a moderator who lives in Pattaya?

The official fireworks are ok. It is the numbnuts letting them off around the bars and streets that should be dealt with. Dogs running away, fires started , people injured. Andit is just as widely abused by falangs

Time to book a table at Hilton ! Where else would you go if you wanted to be high (beside Amsterdam :-) ) ?

My 1st Pattaya New Year's Eve fireworks was ushering in. 2009. It was spectacular but every year less and less since.

Just anywhere near the beach , or Pratumnak hill.

Does anyone have specifics where the main area is?  Central Festival?  I want to see the fireworks but do not want to be near the main crowd.

They are fired off barges in the bay most usually in front of Central & not forgetting being randomly being set off by morons who think it's funny to send a rocket down the street or across the beach

Yes, save the dogs!
