Arriving Suvarnabhumi Airport

Featured Replies

Where can I find the Automatic Teller Machines (ATM) when I arrive at Suvarnabhumi Airport? Do they have them in the Arrival Hall?

They are everywhere, and I am not joking. you are spoiled for choice

After you come out of baggage claim / customs there are several TMB or SCM ATM's in the arrival hall. They are also in the departure hall and many other locations throughout the airport.

I've never used them, so maybe someone else can inform you which networks/cards work with them. TMB is Thai Military Bank, and SCB (I had a typo in my first post) is Siam Commercial Bank. So whatever ATM cards those banks support should work for you.

Virtually all will work with cards with a Visa symbol on them, or Cirrus or Plus symbols. As one of the previous posters said, they are everywhere!

Can someone tell me if there is a Bangkok Bank ATM and if so where is it located?

Thanks

I have not seen a Bangkok Bank one at the airport

There is a Krung Thai Bank one in the Novotel accross the parking.

Can someone tell me if there is a Bangkok Bank ATM and if so where is it located?

Thanks

SCB and TMB have exclusive rights for FOREX and ATM services at Suvarnabhumi. You can use a Bangkok Bank ATM card in any of these TMB/SCB ATM's without a fee.

I have a late night arrival next month and PROBABLY won't clear customs before midnight. Prior trips through 'Poom I've always had some baht on me but this time I will be a little thin. Are there 24 hour foreign exchange booths in the arrival hall like Don M or not? Sorry to sound stupid but I haven't needed them in the past so I never bothered to look.

Am pretty sure they will be open and manned but you cna always use the automatic change ATMs or use your credit card to draw some quick cash

Yes, that might be the best plan of action.

If they are located where I think they are you have to negotiate your way through the mob of

touts to get to them now. It was nice at Don M with their location before the mass of people in the arrival hall.

No there is at least one SCB booth with exchange and credit card/cash exchange ATM just after immigration in the baggage retreival hall BEFORE customs and the outside hall with the touts

Sort out your cash before you rush to look for your checked bags

Well the light bulb finally came on and I remembered I had one of those nice color booklets with a map of the various levels I picked-up my first time through 'Poom back on Oct 1. :o According to the booklet there is a TMB forex & ATM spot on level two arrivals at the end of Concorse D4 and a SCB forex & ATM at the end of D6. And one of both in the baggage claims area.

Bunches of them in the main terminal.

Sometimes all you have to do is talk about it to find your own answer............ :D

Thank you gentlemen.
