This morning, did you feel the fresh winter breeze instead of the usual humidity in the air? That’s because the temperature dropped 3-4 degrees Celsius over the weekend, and it’s going to get even cooler in Bangkok.

 

An announcement that received much love from Thais on social media, the Thai Meteorological Department issued a notice titled “cold weather” and warned people to take care of their health due to the dropping temperatures.

 

Last week, the average temperature in Bangkok was recorded as 27-32 degrees Celsius during the day, but yesterday it went down to only 24-28. As of this morning, we’re experiencing a cool breeze of 23 degrees Celsius.

"Braces for cooler days"? Really? I'd better get my woolies out and collect some firewood.... I think "welcomes" would be a better choice of word. I look forward to the few days of the year when I can comfortably wear long pants. They have no idea what cold can be like, aside from some cinemas and shopping malls.
