I'm sorry as I know this would have been covered but don't understand options available. I have LG smart TV.

I want to watch mainly YouTube and music. I live in a condo and can use their internet but you need sign in every time and you get redirected. 

I watch YouTube on my android using data package from True. A guy at store said I cannot connect my immobile android to TV. 

What are my options. Thanks in advance

Of course you can use your Android phone's HotSpot connection for the Smart TV. But in general it is better to a dedicated device, such as a MiFi.

Where you might purchase one may depend on your current location.
