webfact Posted December 26, 2017 Posted December 26, 2017 Two arrests after shooting at house in Bangkok Source: Thai News Agency Police in the Sai Mai area of northern Bangkok have announced the arrest of two young men and charged them with attempted murder. They are still hunting for three more gang members. The arrests followed an incident in Pahonyothin Road Soi 54 on Thursday evening when 16 shots were fired from at least three weapons into a house. The men involved had earlier argued with rivals at a pub in which threats were made. Police said it was a long running feud. The cops job was made easier after the gang fled the scene and collided with a motorcycle smashing a left side light and losing a license plate. Taken into custody yesterday after an arrest at a Bang Khen condominium were Panupong Kayor, 22 and Natthaphoon Sophonwasu, 19. Police took a Suzuki car and many weapons and ammunition into evidence. Police believe all five of the assailants had guns in the attack. The men arrested have been charged with attempted murder and weapons offences and detained.
