Unlikely, dont forget they have powerful connections in the police and will possibly have an easy jail time ? . Just thankful that the scum got convicted . Without the CCTV would they have gone scot free ? possibly .

'... they have powerful connections in the police and will possibly have an easy jail time ...' They wouldn't have an easy time in a civilised prison atmosphere; in LoS, prisons are anything but.

Lives in the toilet or not there is NO excuse for cold blooded murder of a anyone let alone a spastic as in this horrifying case . These heartless killers should be getting life without parole for this . Id prefer them to get the ultimate penalty however I also understand the logic against the death penalty .

The logic in this case is clear cut, no doubts, no excuses - so it should be the long drop.

well ..somewhat good news and hopefully they will serve at least 12 with NO parole...

More likely they will be quietly spirited away and given new identities.  The media attention around this case meant they had to be seen as being dealt with seriously but from now on it will be money doing the talking.

perhaps that criminal record and time served can be applied in lieu of service when they enter the police force and receive higher ranks?
